Came here during Bowling Green Elementary’s fundraising night. First time and it was crowded but very smooth. Tried their apple pie milkshake on their seasonal menu - so yummy! Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Love that they have fenced in outdoor seating.

Gibson's Ice Cream Shop offers a quaint and charming atmosphere, perfect for a weekend treat with the kids. Housed in what used to be an old gas station, the shop has a unique vibe with seating options only on the outside side of the business.
The menu is quite delightful, with a lot of menu choices that are sure to please the palette. However, when it comes to their custard, it's just average. If you're a fan of sundaes, you might find them a bit disappointing as the wet toppings are on the scant side. A few bites in, and you're mostly left with custard, which could be more generous in terms of toppings distribution throughout the cup, not just on top.
The pricing at Gibson's is on the steeper side for what you get. You're paying for the experience as much as the ice cream itself. The staff serve quickly, which is great when you've got eager children in tow, but don't expect much in the way of warmth or chattiness.
Overall, Gibson's is a nice local spot for an occasional treat. The ambiance scores high, but there's room for improvement in product consistency and value for money.

I love this place. It’s in a great location and is the perfect place to go for a treat on a Friday night. I usually get the milkshake which is good, but I had to try the Salted Caramel Pretzel sundae. It did not disappoint!

We drive a good distance for this place! It's super clean, fast, friendly, and the ice cream is amazing. The banana split is huge and the maple walnuts are delicious. The milkshakes are perfect! It's very hard to find good soft serve ice cream anymore and Gibsons is the best and most consistant we can find anywhere.

I had a chocolate coffee shake. The boy had a waffle cone filled chocolate soft serve with oreo crumble topping. My shake was delicious. The boy enjoyed his cone. He started to eat the napkin also. He was in the zone I knew the place as a garage.

I am so glad I stopped at Gibson's. The ice cream is the best soft serve I have ever tasted. Such a quaint location in a renovated Texaco station. Back to the ice cream... it's incredibly delicious, densa and creamy. Simply wonderful!
