Someone said Pino'a Pizza had changed hands my sister and I checked it out. Place was not busy waitress was doing the best she could with taking to go orders waiting tables, ringing up orders. I asked about lunch special fish sandwich with French fries waitress came back said its not available after 300p. They can not put order in computer 😒 but my sister ordered a fish sub with French fries. I did not want all the bread just a piece of fish w French fries. So waited...
It is very difficult to find restaurants within the area that understand the complicated dynamics of an outstanding pizza; Pino's nailed it! Perfect cheese blend, sauce is not too sweet (a problem with 99% of local pizzas), crust is just the right thickness and pepperonis are quality and crispy on top of the cheese. We were just passing through BG tonight on the way home to CB but I will be making the extra drive to get quality pizza in the future. Thank you for the pepperoni...
There aren’t many restaurant options along this route, but we spotted a Pizza Hut sign and decided to check it out. Turns out, it’s permanently closed and has been replaced by a Mexican restaurant. Right next to it is Pino’s Pizza, where we ended up eating. It’s a small place next to a Shell gas station. The service was friendly, the staff were very helpful, and the food came out quickly. The food itself was average, but it made for a decent quick stop.
