The Heist is a super cool place for drinks, food, and live entertainment, built from the town's old bank and still featuring the beautiful bank vault behind the bar. The owners and staff are extremely friendly, and the intimate atmosphere makes it a fantastic spot to chill, enjoy great food, and experience live music. Appetizers and entrees are delicious and decently-sized, and the drinks, including a fall seasonal drink and a classic gin martini, are well-made and accurately priced. The sound quality is excellent, with clear music and vocals, and the vertical space offers acoustic advantages. The Heist is a premier music venue that allows the small town to showcase its capabilities, making it a great destination for a road trip or a local hangout.
