Fantastic music (including me, from time to time!), awesome food snd drinks. The staff are the nicest people; attentive and friendly.
Great place for Friday or Saturday date night. Great variety of live entertainment in a wonderful setting. The sound is perfect!
Too much giggling in the kitchen. Food was good thou.
I never thought Bowling Green would have a place like this, but here we are. I had a fun evening.
Fantastic venue that you would not expect to find in a small town. Good food, friendly service, great atmosphere. Live music, karaoke, trivia, etc... great spot for a date night, or to get together with friends.
One of the greatest venues for live music. Robbie and Richard every first Friday of the month we try to attend. $5 cover but well worth the show. Great drinks, good prices and amazing staff and service. Everyone should visit The Heist if you're anywhere near Bowling Green VA.
Great Music Venue, with Great Service!!!!
Love the atmosphere, the food and the service. Great place to go to.
Super cool place for drinks, food and live entertainment built from the small town's old bank, still featuring the beautiful bank vault behind the bar. The owners and staff are extremely friendly people. Highly recommend stopping by
I(41) took my son(20) to The Heist during a weekend road trip from OH through VA. Our intention was to experience more local stops than chains. We visited several local places along our way, but The Heist really stood out as a fantastic place to chill, enjoy great food, and just enjoy an intimate musical atmosphere. The moment you enter The Heist, you're immediately aware of the experience you're meant to have there. It's intimate (read: smallish) but not uncomfortably packed. There's seating directly in front of the stage but also around the perimeter of the venue & at the bar, allowing you to choose your concert/dining experience.Appetizers are delicious and decently-sized, as are the entrees. I had 2 mixed drinks- a fall seasonal drink and a classic gin martini- and both were well-made and accurately priced. The staff felt like family but treated us as guests- we didn't feel neglected or overly hassled at all.The sound is beautiful. The vertical space offers acoustic advantages and disadvantages alike but the crew have it covered. The music and vocals were clear and volume was not a problem; my son and I had no trouble engaging in conversation over our meal.Overall, I'd return to The Heist in a heartbeat. In planning our trip, I had read several comments from folks startled at the prices in contrast to the location- but this isn't some diner, it's a premier music venue. It's a great opportunity for beautiful little Bowling Green to stretch its legs and see what the town is capable of.Thanks for making our little road trip even more special!

I haven't been to a more expensive bar LOL I am pretty surprised on the prices considering this is in Bowling Green. The decor was cool, there was live music, they closed at 1130 on a Saturday (but it is bowling green) and our waitress was nice.
Some friends and I came Friday before last. Service was not good at all. You made out better to just go to the bar and order there.Tonight service is good. 2 piece band they have is next to nothing, sorry to say. .I can't believe it as there is so much talent right in Bowling Green, right David Harper? Will try again, guess there working on getting the kinks out.
Great vibes, good drinks! Recommend!
Made a 2 hour drive from Suffolk for a special event. I was very impressed. Loved every moment of the experience.
Pricey for size of drinks might be ok for some just not for me
