Update 9/6/25: I went to the 10 year anniversary and as crowded as it was with line almost out the door all morning, it was very efficient! The staff is very nice! I tried their seasonal pumpkin spice latte and pretzel and it was tasty! I have been here a few times and the girls are always sweet, nice and greet you with a smile.
Very nice and quaint coffee shop, nice and friendly staff. First time here. Lots of room to spread out. Idea for people who want to come work on their laptop, read and meet up. Family/kid friendly. I got breakfast sandwich and coffee togo. Everything was tasty and fresh made to order. My only complaint was I found a hair in my sandwich.

Great coffee house....good variety of styles of straight coffee and other mixed brews and pastries with out being pretentious like some West coast chain outlets. The staff is great....super welcoming and friendly!!

Excellent, super friendly service and spacious vibe! But the best part about it all? Lots of accessories to get exactly the drink you want, Mocha, sugar free, Latte Art, you name it, they can do it. Tastes just like the almond milk lattes I make at home. And it's no wonder, I use Blanchard's coffee the same as they do here!

Such friendly customer service and quick. We went two weekends in a row because of the amount of options available. Cherry Blossom Breeze and the Salty Dog were both very good. They do have food options available as well as items to purchase. Good amount of space to sit and long counter with several chairs for computer work. Some parking in front but plenty more in the back and there is a rear entrance .

what a treat. the coffee is really good and that sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with the homemade biscuit bread is delicious. I'm just barely out of reach of this place in king George, I'd say I'm 20 minutes from here and I'd still definitely make that 40 minute round trip at least couple times a week
The lattes are delicious. The baristas are super friendly and my kids loved playing the card games there while we waited for my coffee. You must try the chocolate chip cookies! We bought cookie dough to take home since they were so good.

TMH is always a 100/10. The people are amazing and the coffee is DELICIOUS 😋 and don't forget to get a biscuit or a protein bite!!
My only small complaint -- there's no phone number to call about hours, or days closed when summer vacay or snow days are in effect. They try to update their socials with any closures but that's the only thing, I wish I didn't have to trek on-site to see if they're open (on special occasions).
BUT OTHERWISE 100/10 stars ⭐

If I could give more than five stars I absolutely would!! This place is definitely a life saver when it comes to crazy mornings or if I’m craving a sweet drink. I can’t stress enough how much I love the staff here too. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I’m happy to be a regular at this business.🫶🏻💕

I am not a coffee drinker. But the staff is very patient while I order my Chai latte. They never act like I'm wasting their time. Every time I am in Bowling Green, The Mix House is at the top of my list of places to go and things to do!

The staff at Mix House Coffee Shop in Bowling Green, VA, are super nice, making every visit pleasant. The place is spotless with quick service. I tried the candy cane latte and a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit - both were absolutely divine. The atmosphere is soothing, with ample seating on sofas, chairs, and tables. Parking is convenient both on Main Street and behind the building. Everything is freshly baked in-house. Highly recommend!
Parking: There is plenty of parking along Main Street, and there is also parking available in a lot behind the building.

Very good coffee with a large seating area.
Staff was friendly, I wish they carried hazelnut but the toffee nut was close enough. They also had a decent selection of premium coffee beans to purchase for us espresso at home lovers

Had a hot chai latte and a caramel Matanuska. Holy smokes that Matanuska is delicious. It’s like a frozen coffee milkshake thing (this doesn’t do it justice at all) and is highly delicious. Definitely recommend swinging by. Never had something like that before in the lower 48. I will definitely make this a future stop for coffee.

Cute little coffee shop and the staff was so nice but this was not good at all. The coffee taste like syrup and they were sold out of the breakfast sandwiches. The bakery has nothing but cookies and pumpkin bread. Not what I expected visiting Virginia. 😢
