Fast service and the food was delicious. Pancakes had a nice bouncy chew. Eggs all cooked perfectly. Great pricing. Half is smoking so it does linger over a little but it’s not bad- just mentioning in case someone is sensitive.

J waitress always great, also other waitress hasn’t been there as long, great. Food great big portions very tasty. Clean facilities and dining room area. It’s a cool atmosphere IMO they are friendly and the food is really good.

UPDATE: I had Firecracker Burger add bacon and sweet potato fries on the side. Fantastic as always. Woman w short hair has always been excellent employee IMO. 5-17-25 around midday.

UPDATE: the sweet potato french fries were awesome today and the bacon cheeseburger best I’ve had from restaurant!!! I think the blonde waitress w glasses that brought me a tea as I waited, restaurant closed 2:30pm for customer who had a celebration, is really great at her job. Folks in kitchen also and all staff—thank you. 4-23-25

Went in before Christmas my lil nephew likes it. So I get steak & cheese sub it is good. Blonde waitress w glasses professional courteous. I tip accordingly. Price is reasonable. I come in after New Years and get bacon cheeseburger also very good w fries also and drink. All is the same as before. I also came in two years ago w my mom got breakfast couple times it’s reasonable price and good like you’d make at home if you get eggs toast bacon sausage etc. So thank you. I have also had their French dip year or more ago and it too is good sandwich IMO. The smoking section is not really an issue if you are seated in non smoking, btw, I have asthma and only use inhaler in Rocky Mtn states. It’s fine you’ll not be bothered by it. Nice dining room in the front and bathrooms clean.

Great food, great service, but knocked one star off because they still allow smoking inside.

The blackened chicken wrap was from Heaven . I don’t know what kind of magic they’re doing back there but it’s working on me . Came from Dc would totally do the drive back 🤣

Quaint old tavern style bar. The wait staff were friendly. I had a hamburger french fries and a soda and it was a good value $18.00 $23 out the door. I would recommend stopping there if you are on the highway it is easy to reach and easy to get back on. They must be good because they buried a McDonald's. There was a McDonald's across the street but it went out of business LOL

The food was mediocre, at best. If you're looking for quality food, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for (relatively) inexpensive food and don't care about nutrition and quality, you may find the food here acceptable.

It's awesome we had the opportunity to experience this place. Serving breakfast till noon was a plus to all of us since that was our goal. The service and food was amazing and to our expectations. Will definitely frequent this place if in or around area sometime soon.

We stumbled on The Oak by accident and absolutely love it. The staff are friendly, anticipatory, and prompt. The food is delicious, both the entire platters and The standard bar food. This weekend I had chicken stuffed with sausage with sides of green beans and macaroni and cheese and it was the quality of a high-end restaurant not a roadside tavern. I highly recommend The Oak.

PS sit in the back.

Kinda nasty! We walked in and the smell of cigarette smoke was strong. We decided to leave immediately. Floors weren't swept, and cigarette smoke smell was too much.

5 star food. Excellent burger and club sandwich. Everything is home made, even the salad croutons and dressings. Excellent service. The only thing I can say is go on a nice day so you can sit outside away from the horrible cigarette smoke inside the main area. There is a non- smoking section inside, but you have to go into the bar beyond it to get seated. If smokey, loud, dive bars are your thing, you've found your spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal on the patio on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
