He has been in the hospital for 6 days and his one request was a shake so there was no way I wasn't going to find him one.

McDonald's use to be a good place for a quick cheap bite to eat. This isn't true anymore, the days of getting a meal for $5 or less are over. Expect to pay $10 to $15 for a "value" meal. These prices are the same for breakfast meals which use to be cheaper than a dinner or lunch. For these prices I rather get real food from a restaurant. Avoid McDonald's as much as possible.
