We have been to Bristol many times but just ate here today for the first time at the reccomendation of another bar. The axe throwing / bar and eating area is hidden away - I had no idea it was there. If you want good food, friendly staff, very clean and nice restrooms, wide beer selection, this might need to be your new regular stop. Appears that management and staff really take pride in running this place. My only comment on the food would be to maybe offer extra sauce and/or...
I came to the NYE party as a stranger and walked out with some new friends. Axe and Ale put on a great party with trivia and karaoke. I ordered the hillbilly sandwhich and not sure if the sandwich is usually soggy. However, the sandwich was good and the potato fries with the spicy honey dip (yum!) Thanks for a great night! I'll come back soon.
Our office scheduled a Christmas party at the Axe house. The menu we selected was served buffet style and was very tasty, particularly the smoked meatloaf. The staff was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. I would definitely recommend it!
