Had a hankering for donuts on a road trip, so we swung through to get some. They hit the spot! Enjoyed the yeast donuts, and also a cinnamon roll. Would have loved a blueberry frosted, but they were sold out.Disappointing that it's drive thru only though.

I purchased 6 $14 fundraiser cards from my granddaughters basketball team beause I felt sorry for her when my daughter told me nobody would buy them. I'm not a fan of the location downtown, but in this case each card gets me 1 dozen glazed doughnuts, which I love, and I can help out the team. Now I have learned why the team had such a difficult time selling them. You never know if you're going to get fresh, day old or even older doughnuts when you order. I have been to this location 3 times to redeem my cards. The first time the doughnuts were fresh and they were the best doughnuts I have ever had, even beating that famous chain, which says a lot coming from me. The second time the doughnuts were a day old and not good. The third time the doughnuts were older than a day old. I ate one and trashed the other 11. I'm not going to be redeeming my other cards. I also saw people walking over from the hotel next door to turn around and walk back after seeing the "drive thru only" sign on the door. I would not return for this reason because if I want to order something other than doughnuts, I want to see it before i order it.

It’s been years since I came to Blackbird so I figured I would try out this donut centric location (drive-thru only, when I came through). I was a little disappointed with these donuts as good as they look. It just seems somethings changed over the years. These were much more dense than what o remember about the light fluffy donuts they used to have.

Nice Experience! Wish we could have gone inside though... We are visiting from out of town, and we like meeting and supporting local businesses. The drive thru was only open. Our milkshakes and donuts were wonderful!

I would like to go in and get my own selection of doughnuts, but "short staffed" is always the reason you can't but the cases inside always show a bigger variety and full.

We were staying at an air bnb close so we decided to walk because it was nice out . Unfortunately it's drive in only and they don't allow walk ups. Once we got back to the coffee shop in our truck we ordered . The coffee and donuts took a little while to get . There was an up charge for hot donuts . Luckily they were pretty tasty

Okay doughnuts, but selection of other Blackbird specialties is very limited at this location. Evidently you have to go to downtown Bristol location for the good stuff.

I got a cannoli because I had never had one before. I wasn’t too impressed with it because the shell seemed to be too dry and flaked a lot. However, their donuts are to die for! I got a half-dozen (1 peanut butter, 2 cinnamon sugar, 2 maple and 1 coconut) and every bite was delicious. My friend got a butter pecan ice cream and it was also divine. I gave them a 5 star rating because it was that good!
