Prepare to be hit with 3-4 bullshit fees a burger fries and drink should NOT be near 40$ for 2 people and the waitress we had was super unhelpful had to ask each question about the place twice she was more worried about messing behind the bar probably because we did takeout and she didn’t get a tip well maybe don’t charge 4 fees?? A great restaurant, I cannot recommend enough. My wife and I were in Bristol over Thanksgiving weekend and we stopped in Burger Bar and were immediately treated like we were old friends. Great burgers and malts...a must visit in Bristol VA/TN!

This was a few months ago, but it just occurred to me that I hadn’t posted about it, and I should have. My daughter and I went to eat here, we always sit at the bar. There was a gentleman that came in and sat down to eat at the bar. He was special, neurodivergent special. Very polite, very sweet. The staff was clearly familiar with him. He was comfortable and happy there. I signaled to the server that I wanted to pay for his meal. She waved it off and said that they never make him pay. And THAT is why I keep coming back. And that is why I wish them more success than they know what to do with. Businesses that do these gestures are the ones that change the world, one meal at a time.
