The cashier was really rude and then went to get a steak. The guy was really pissed off at everyone in line. I told him med rare, and he gave me what's pictured. The plates are always dirty and they really need new ones. I'm not sure if I'll be back.

This is the second time I've eaten here recently. Two weeks ago on Thursday evening the food was fresh and hot. Families were enjoying supper. I noticed there was no music playing and it felt good not having to tune that out of our conversation. This week on Friday evening the food was dull, tired, with not much flavor. I hated the music that was playing.

I usually love Golden Corral, but I'll never go to this location again. We went a little after 12:00 on a Saturday. The grill was not operating the whole time we were there so no hamburgers, steaks, etc. They didn't have any macaroni and cheese or even cheese pizza so my toddler wouldn't eat anything. What was on the bar looked and felt like it had been sitting out for hours. French fries were so old it was like a rock hitting the plate. Rolls were hard. Even the white rice was crunchy. Chili beans were lukewarm. They had my favorite pot roast out but the meat was all gone and the pan was never replaced. Ended up spending $35 just to eat some mashed potatoes and green beans.

Too many flies had to keep throwing my food out asked for well done steak and blood was running out when I cooked it still more flies....waisted my money

The food here used to be much better, but has recently gone downhill. Nothing tastes good anymore :( The servers aren’t very attentive to drink refills, and the staff just doesn’t seem concerned with much anymore. I hate to leave a negative review, but we used to eat here frequently but we don’t enjoy it anymore.

Not trying here anymore. The Kingsport location is excellent but the one in Bristol is just not good. The food quality is near inedible everything taste old and most of it is overcooked and dry.
This is maybe the third time I've been the foods been disappointing the previous visits but this time I didn't even finish eating anything. Burnt okra, dried out hushpuppies, I thought I'm hungry I'll try a burger but even that taste like it had been reheated.
Your soap dispenser in the men's room also needs replaced there's no top on it.
Server was excellent very attentive I even had a full drink when I gave up and left hungry.

I wish I could attach the video of the blood coming out of the raw chicken we were served. We haven't been here in a little over 5 years. Our daughter requested it for her birthday and we will never go back. Very minimal options, almost every cook was eating ice cream at their post, no changing of gloves, we ate ice cream and cotton candy and left. Definitely not what it used to be at all.

Today I went to G.C for breakfast thinking it would be better than there LUNCH & DINER I WAS WRONG. NOTHING WAS HOT IT WAS ALL LUKE WARM & THE BACON WAS SO OVER COOKED YOU COULDN'T EVEN EAT IT, THE EGGS WERE NOT NOT ENOUGHT & THE BISCUITS WERE OVER COOKED. JUST A TERIBBLE MEAL ALL TOGETHER. NOT TO MENTION THE CASHIER WHO CHECKED ME IN SMELLED LIKE CIGARETTE SMOKE,THAN MANGEMENT SENT HER OUT SIDE TO CLEAN THE PARKING LOT WHERE SHE WAS FREE TO SMOKE OUT THERE SO DISCUSTING. DALE I KNOW GOOD HELP IS HARD TO FIND BUT I WILL NEVER EAT AT ANOTHER GOLDEN CARROLL. EVEN WIITNESS A FEW MONTHS BACK ONE OF YOU MANAGERS NAMED Elizabeth PUT HER HANDS IN THE CHAFFING DISH & ATE A PIECE OF CHICKEN FROM IT ON THE FLOOR IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE ClIENTAL.SO GLAD SHE IS NOT IN THE BRISTOL STORE ANYMORE SHE IS NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL & NOT NICE TO HER EMPLOYEES. Absolutely the worst worst food I hadn't been there in awhile maybe 2 yrs I swore then I would never come back but this morning I said I would give it another shot bad choice..I remember yrs and yrs ago when they used to have good food they took pride in there work there restaurant I don't know what happened but now the food they leave sitting out tell it gets dried out cold they don't bother wiping around the trays so food drops in the wrong pans they don't clean it up I think the biggest issue they hire people that can't cook period or not much experience I would not recommend this restaurant at least this 1 in Bristol, VA exit 7 I will not ever go back I only wish I took pictures this time so people don't waist there money I say they should just close the doors permanently or hire managers that care but it's a reflection of them and the training they provide I would absolutely be modified embarrassed you know.the lack of cars should be an indication a few cars means few customers means go somewhere else.
