I grew up on this food with my grandma. It is always exactly what I expect it to be. If I've ever been disappointed it's been so long I cannot remember it.My only complaint is as of late. I went about 2 weeks ago and they said they only offer waffle fries now. I understand trying new things but I was fine with the fries they had.
Nice place,food was fresh and hot. Wasn't dark and tasted like fresh oil was used. They usually stay on point when it comes to quality at this restaurant!!! Always delicious .

The store was dirty . Not just daily dirt it has been a very long time since the building was cleaned properly. Food was very good but could have gone to a much nicer place 30$ for 2 people is ridiculous.

I was pleasantly surprised to walk into LJS dining room during lunch hour on a weekday and see the place nearly full. The fish, fries, hushpuppies, and Cole slaw were all fresh and well prepared. I cannot have a steady diet of this because the fish and chicken are deep fried and not the healthiest food you can eat, but wow it's tasty. Dining room looked clean, staff was very friendly, and even though they were busy they had my order ready quickly. No complaints.Vegetarian options: Not a good place for a vegetarian. Main draw is seafood (fish, clams, shrimp) and chicken.Parking: When busy parking is a little tight. May have to park in the back.
