I love their food! Unfortunately when we went back 2 days ago they were shut down! The building owner (formerly Alfredo's) was there and told us that they just up and shut down and left everything! How disappointing ?.

Went for the first time the other day The service was great and wasnt too busy when we came in, was surprised at the size of the sandwich, barely could finish a half but tasted great and tasted fresh. And price wasn’t bad for how big the sandwich is either, I pay more at jersey mikes for less of a sandwich. Although I tried to go again pass 2 days and they’ve been closed?

I’ve been coming to this sub shop pretty much since it opened because I don’t live far and have never been disappointed. I factor in that it will be two meals when I order the sub because it is simply that much food. Could not recommend it more.

Alright.. So I went into this place expecting the worst because I work in a place where lots of people talk! I'm glad I took their words with a grain of salt cause lemme tell you.. At first I seen the prices and was a bit turned off, I forgot all about that after the first bite! I got the "Small" philly cheesesteak since I'm from that way, why not! Hands down the best cheesesteak I've had in this area. I've been around here/NE Tennessee for a few years now so I've had some of the so-called "good" places.. Na, this dude knows how to make a sandwich!don't go here if you want a snack, Definitely go here if you wanna eat cause you gonna get your moneys worth and then some!10/10 I'll be back. thanks for the food

Outstanding! No place like it, on a road trip to PA from TN and this is an absolute must! The proportions are crazy, I’m not just saying that, understand that they are absolutely out of this world. Not only that, but it’s a mom and pop shop, the subs are made with all the love possible! The owner made our sub, and that doesn’t happen anywhere else. Go here, and have no regrets!

I'm glad to be wrong. Phat Daddy's is now on Commonwealth at the prior location of Alfredo's restaurant. Can't wait to stop by.It's possible this place has closed. I've driven by twice in the past couple of weeks and it looks empty. Called today and the phone is no longer in service. If that's the case, I'm disappointed. Phat Daddy's served fresh, delicious, enormous subs in a fun and unique venue. Hope they're opening elsewhere, or better yet, hope they're just on vacation.

Ate here with the wife and kiddo. Definitely a place we will return to loved our HUGE sub and still have leftovers! Plus the owner was real nice to my kid gave her a free drink, and treating my kid good is a sure way of getting me to come back. Food is amazing though and you won't be disappointed if you stop in here!

The owner says to me get ready this isn't anything like other sub shops. He placa small phat daddy in front of me. I'm a bigger guy and can put away my fair share of food but this was over the top. I promise you will not go away hungry.

Stopped in for a late lunch. My husband and I split 1/2 a ham, turkey and bacon and honestly for the price ($20 included 2 drinks) it was fantastic. We were both stuffed and took some home. The sub was so fresh and delicious! Better come hungry

Subs are better and bigger than any sub places I have ever eat at and they really load it with a lot of meat, staff are great and prices are well worth it, my favorite place of all for subs. I went to Phat Daddy's because my wife's coworker suggested it. I'm really glad I checked it out. I went on a Friday at about 5:30. The staff were very friendly and there were a few couples there having dinner. I ordered the Phat Daddy Sub for myself, the Teriyaki Chicken Sub for my wife, and the Bacon, Chicken, Ranch Sub for my daughter. While I waited, I saw them cut the meat for my sandwich. Everything was prepared fresh while I watched. The place was very clean and had a great atmosphere. I have never had a three pound sandwich until now! No, I'm not exaggerating. Not only was the Phat Daddy huge, but it was very tasty. The meat was sliced so thinly and was very juicy. I ordered the eight inch and could only eat one of the three sections in one sitting. My wife and daughter raved about the chicken. Oh, and the bread! The bread was fresh. I mean, it came out of the oven that day, fresh. My family and I will definitely be visiting this establishment again. Contrary to some of the other reviews, I would go out of my way to eat here. They have a little something for everyone, pizza, calzones, paninis, hot and cold subs, pasta, and more. Do yourself a favor and check it out!
