I called to place a to-go order & when I asked if I could do boiled shrimp instead of fried shrimp the man hung up on me. This was after he verified the rest of my entire order.

The food is outright the best Mexican food in the tri cities and in my very personal opinion the entire Appalachian region. You can be certain that the fresh guacamole is made in front of you and with only the freshest ingredients.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurant to eat at. There seafood is really good and There white rancho sauce is amazing. I would definitely recommend this 👌

Advertised $3.50 house margs for mother's Day. We ordered house margs charged us $12- $14 per marg. Also advertised free cake for Mom's and after paying an absurd amount for margs my mom didn't even get her cake. Won't be coming back absolutely terrible service.

The service at this one is lacking. The place is nice but the food is nothing to brag about ....

Love,love, love it here!! We always have an amazing time going out to eat for Mexican at Puerto Nuevo...the food is always spectacular, the portions are great and defiantly enough to fill you up and have some leftovers to take home for later. The staff at this restaurant are very welcoming, helpful, quick, and polite. All together it creates and atmosphere that is comfortable, fun and very inviting...I promise taking your family out for lunch or dinner here will be a one of a kind experience that the whole family will want to make on the regular. My family and I have been dining at this restaurant since they opened over 6 years ago and we have never experienced anything negative or had a bad time.

I come here a lot. But after tonight I probably won't return. Female woman server who had a terrible attitude every time she came over to our table. Every time I spoke she had a sour look. She brought our food over, set it down, didn't say a word and walked away. When our receipt came she did the same thing. No thank you for coming in, nothing. It was the strangest experience. And before anyone asks, I was nothing but simple and polite with lots of thank you's and stacked my plates and STILL left a tip despite the attitude. There's plenty of Mexican restaurants around here and I'll give them my business instead.

The reviews looked great so we decided to try it. We shared a taco plate. It came with 3 tacos so we asked for an extra taco. They charged $4.75 for a taco that had hardly any meat but whatever. The chips tasted like the cheap walmart chips, the tacos were covered in some sauce that was not good. The meat did not taste good either. The service was OK. It was not worth $30 for 4 tacos that did not taste good and store bought chips.

Sadly did not experience good food at lunch recently. Crummy digestive issues followed the meal for 12+ hours. Contacted restaurant customer service but no response.
