In Latin America, coffee farms are often run by families, with their own homes on the same land where their coffee grows. We've sipped coffee with these farmers for decades, sitting on their verandas, overlooking the lush beauty of the coffee trees rolling out in the distance. Most times it was a lightly roasted coffee like this one. It took us more than 80 tries to get it right-mellow and flavorful with a nice softness.

Swung in here to snag a quick pick me up on a road trip, grande shaken expresso with salted caramel cold foam…(if you haven’t tried it, get to it boss. Thank me later). The service was great, my coffee was fantastic. Had to shoo my husband away from trying to chug it after he said he didn’t want one. Delicious. For sure a clean, quality Starbucks to sneak into for a treat.

When I arrived late afternoon they were busy. I went in and ordered a coffee. They were fast and efficient. The maintenance man was there. The coffee was so strong, not very hot and they poisoned it, whether that was with too much caffeine or something else, causing sickness. I've never had that experience at a Starbucks before but probably will not go back.
