We were very pleased with Taste. The wines were better than expected and the food pairing options were all very good. Loved the Pumpkin pie pizza dessert. It was soooo good. The Salmon bites were great too. This is definitely a hidden gem for Bristol.
So much potential to reach 5 Stars, however, the menu options, presentation, and experience at Taste need a rebrand. I had a salad and pizza when dining here last December. The salad dressing tasted very strange. The pizza and service in general were mediocre. I know some people who love Taste though, so I think developing consistency and improving is key.
I was at Taste for a work event at this beautiful venue. As whole-foods plant-based eaters, the chef prepared a special menu for us and it was delicious. Even the meat-eaters at our table agreed the vegan food was amazing. For dessert we had vegan carrot cake and it easily was one of the best things I have ever eaten. It was so good, that I asked for the recipe and was happily obliged. The chef told us he always tries to have at least one vegan option on his menu, so we will definitely...
