Appalachian Bakehouse

We asked Hillary to make our wedding cake and cookies to add to our dessert table. We told her our aesthetic was vintage and let her take it from there. She did not disappoint!! The cake was not only beautifully decorated but it was delicious! In fact people are still commenting on how amazing it was. She also made gluten free lemon shortbread cookies and pecan shortbread cookies which guests said were amazing! I would hire Hillary again in a heartbeat!

First time stopping in this bakery. We got a loaf of homemade bread, two almond cupcakes and a few other treats. The cupcakes were fantastic. Not overly sweet and the almond icing was decadent. Will definitely be back. Her prices are so good and quality top level. Highly recommend!

Was searching for some chocolate covered strawberries and this bakery came highly recommend. Reached out and she was willing to make some even prior to vday. Was very accommodating and asked for when I wanted them. Contacted me to let me know they were ready. I was running late and she kindly waited for me to arrive.

Just spotted this place yesterday and was intrigued. I love the decor and want it in my own house! So cute. Sadly, they don't have any dairy free options, but that's my own personal issue. No big. I did buy my family 2 slices of smores cheesecake, and they devoured that so quickly that I never got to take a photo. Everything looked very yummy in this shop.

The Smores cheesecake is absolutely DIVINE! 10/10. I am very picky about cheesecake and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. The garden salad was super fresh & yummy. They have a great selection and everything looks AMAZING. This is my go to bakery from now on!

I've been spending time in the area and finally had some free time to stop by and spend some money. I walked right up, then walked right on by. Bakeries and cigarettes just don't go hand in hand. Especially when one of the workers is sitting in a lounge chair directly in front of the store with her apron on. No thank you.

This bakery has a nice outdoor dining area as well as a cute atmosphere in the indoor area. they have many delicious items to choose from. the staff was pleasant even when they were very busy. we went to the downtown store but the drive thru is a quick option on the run.
