I have to say I had extremely high expectations for this place. My wife and I are big foodies and we’ve been following Chef T for quite some time now. We drove from Johnson City specifically to try this place, and I can’t say we were wildly impressed. For starters, the outdoor seating is not at all what I anticipated. We got seated at a wrought iron table which was not very comfortable and we were the only people out there until another couple showed up about 30 minutes later. To keep things short, it wasn’t very classy. Our server took forever to check on us each time and was very forgetful, forcing me to have to ask another runner to get me various things such as refills and sauces etc. The brussel sprouts were the best I had ever had, and the pizza was phenomenal. Without those 2 things, this would be a 1 or 2 star review. The other thing that gave us a good experience was a chef named Eli who was extremely friendly and interactive. He talked to us and we had good conversation throughout the evening. We might consider coming back just to get the pizza. On the other hand, the steak & frites was very poorly cooked/seasoned. For $40 it was one of the worst steaks I had ever had. We ended up taking it to go and giving it to our dog later that evening. I do not send food back but I most certainly should have sent this back. Overall this establishment was decent but lacks in many areas for a place owned by a well-known and sophisticated chef. I am not the type of person to rip a place of business but I do believe honesty is what reviews are for. Big thank you to Eli, he was fantastic. As for the rest of the staff, I do think things could vastly improve.

So pissed you got sent home on yes, chef. Michelle couldn’t bet you so she sent you home. Even the judges didn’t agree.

I usually don't take time for reviews however I want restaurants in Bristol to succeed so here's some suggestions.
- The oxtail ramen was replaced with jerk chicken which I didn't mind one bit...The chicken was very dry and I was hoping it'd be off the bone for a ramen dish.
- Oysters Rockefeller were cold.
- Ordered the Roni pizza. It was very doughy, didn't have all the listed ingredients and the taste was lacking big time.

For the price we were very disappointed. We always tip big regardless because I understand that servers can't control the kitchen. Hope next time it'll be better.

We came to Bristol to try another restaurant but ended up leaving because of really bad customer service. We hopped on over to Union 41 to try their brunch and so glad we did! As soon as we walked in the door the staff were all warm and welcoming! We loved sitting at the bar and watching them all work together to make each plate an experience. We will definitely be back to try dinner service soon!!

Nice looking restaurant. But that's about the best thing for them. Overpriced for the quality of food. My wife got chicken... at this level, it shouldn't be on the bone if you are serving in a bowl. I got steak, which was cooked perfectly, but the sauce tasted like it was made from the grease in the grease trap. Which made the steak that sauce was inedible.
Watching the staff, everyone of them looked miserable like they didn't want to be there.
There are much better restaurants in the area if you are going to drop 150-200 dollars on a meal.

This restaurant is a TREASURE in Bristol. Our experience was out of this world. Food and service were fantastic. They were very accommodating for my handicapped teen in a power chair. I reached out in advance and they were ON IT. GO! Chef T is incredible. Our family indulged in an embarrassing amount of oysters, crab legs, filet, shrimp and grits, jerk chicken, tacos, and don't get me started on how good the dessert was! Wonderful drink selection as well. I can't say enough - we will be back!

We did not know that an 8 top would be charged a 20% upcharge. SEPARATE from a tip. The restaurant was not crowded. The waitress took our drink order shortly after we were seated. Drinks arrived in a reasonable time. It took a bit of time to place our appetizer order (2 items). We finally were able to place our food order when the appetizers arrived. Almost an hour after placing our order, we went to the chef/cook to make sure our order had even been put in. We were told, with an attitude, with a large party you should expect an hour. UNACCEPTABLE. The food was good, but we were starving by the time it arrived. Our bill was around $400 for 7 people. 5 orders were tacos < $15/ person. I cannot imagine we will go back. Downtown Bristol can ill afford another failed restaurant. I can only hope that things will improve.
