Vivian's table is our brunch go-to place for entertaining out of town guests. We can always count on excellent food, good service and an atmosphere that allows for conversation.

Food was a little above average. Cornbread was outstanding. Country cordon bleu did not need the pimento cheese. Gravy was ok. Too many ingredients for the dish tho. Shrimp and grits was good, but not spectacular or above average. Creme brûlée was undercooked and runny. Tasted great, but consistency was soupy

Server Christina was personable and exceptional in her attention and food recommendations. Lots of variety in the menu and plenty of GF options.

Order the cornbread appetizer! Blue corn so when it comes to the table don't be put off by the dark color. When we cut into it the smell was like the most delicious movie popcorn we'd ever had. I had the salmon (Delicious) and my husband had the petite filet, perfect medium rare cook. Our waiter was quiet at first but became more open once we started talking with him. We will definitely come back next visit to Bristol.

About as I remembered from my last meal here-entrees are expensive and not worth the money. Cornmeal crusted trout served with skin on. If you didn't want to eat the skin, you didn't get to enjoy the cornmeal crust. Odd. Also, my scallops carbonara was disappointing. While the pasta and sauce with peas was tasty, the scallops were so heavily seasoned with salt and pepper I could only eat one of the four served. When I explained to the server, he didn't offer to bring me anything else or provide any discount. Tasty pimento cheese with Appalachian fry bread though.

We had our anniversary dinner at Vivian's Table. We made reservations for 6:30 on a Friday evening but we're surprised at how few people were in the restaurant. The chef started us with a complimentary small bite (smoked salmon on a pastry puff). We ordered sm9ked trout dip which was a phenomenal appetizer with Appalachian bread. I had Mediterranean salmon abd my husband had a cocoa crusted flat iron steak. Both were delicious! Our waiter Nick was wonderful! He advised us to save room for dessert. which was also complimentary. We

Excellent dinner experience. We're staying at the hotel, so we went back for brunch on Sunday.

We had returned to Vivian's Table after a great experience. Unfortunately, dinner last night was completely the opposite, Service was slow and inattentive. Appetizers, dinner and dessert all took longer than it should have taken. Not sure what the problem was in the kitchen. I ordered the short ribs which came out as four mini pieces which I wouldn't have described as appetizer size. It was $42, extremely overpriced. Vivian's has gone from a place we would frequent to one we may never visit again. They snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

We had such a great experience at Vivian’s Table! Our server, Kate, was attentive, pleasant, and truly took our evening to the next level. The scallops were insanely good and the ribeye was cooked to perfection. The bartender clearly has skills—every cocktail was spot on. And the pastry chef? Straight out of The Bear—absolutely incredible desserts. Can’t wait to come back!

My whole party was not happy with the food. We had a party of 5 and no ones food was proper, and it was rather pricey. The service was ok and the atmosphere was fine. I used to cook in fine dining and I saw several issues with the way the cooks/chefs were preparing. They are 3 star price for 1 star food.

Food is exceptional. They were not using all their seating, and would not let us go to the bar while we waited on a table. Then, allowed people who arrived after we did, go sit at the bar to wait. Not a smooth process by the hostess. Maybe they were short on wait staff because the bartender ended up up waiting on several tables. He was excellent as well as the food.

We had a great experience. Group of 12 so we had to sit at 3 separate tables, our table had 4 people and our waitress was awesome. Our other 8 had to wait quite a bit for their food but overall very good food! Strawberry banana bread with homemade butter was delicious.

Always a unique brunch menu. Been coming here for several years in connection with the NASCAR races and I don't think I've had the same dish twice. If you go for Sunday brunch, hope Emily is your server. Great service and trustworthy recommendations!
