Peri Peri Original x Kallisto Steakhouse (Bristow VA)

Food was ordered through a school event taking place today10/27/24 in the afternoon for kids. Chicken nuggets, fries and juice box combo for $7 (priced for school). We had to preorder these boxes well in advance. However the nuggets were over cooked, dry and hard as a rock. The fries had a bad taste and smell it seemed like they were cooked in old oil. 3 boxes of food were pre ordered and all of it went in trash.

The food here is great but the service is HORRENDOUS. They have messed up my order almost every single time I’ve been here. I’ve ordered online and in person and yet somehow they always manage to give me the wrong items. If you’re going to eat here - make sure you double check everything they give you.

Upon calling them and telling them they gave me a burrito instead of a pita, the girl on the phone said “oh, my bad”. And that was it. Today they gave me straight fries instead of waffle fries that I specifically asked for. This is clearly a habit with them.

I’m gonna be honest in this review, so if you want a 5, read this and reply so I can come back.

The peri peri chicken was very good. I enjoyed it a lot. It was juicy and well seasoned. 5/5

Burger good

The wings were good.

Maybe heat up the tortilla for the quesadillas because it was really cold.

The fries were perfect I enjoyed them a lot.

I suggest using an alternative to Coca Cola, as they are on boycott list. Maybe make your own syrup for it, but Im not factoring this into the overall review score.

Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to try the kallisto section, but it seems very fancy styled, not like the environment in this location. Maybe keep the fancy steaks, but add less fancy steaks,

The peri peri section has great prices tho.

If ur an average joe, try this place for the chicken, other things are alright.

I've been here several times, and I have yet to be disappointed.
My most recent meal was the Nash & Smash, with a side of the period fries, and it was so good that my entire mood improved in spite of me being at work.
The place is clean, the servers and kitchen staff are friendly, and the food is great.
I highly recommend this place for lunch.

I tried Beef Mushroom burger and honestly it was very juicy and tasteful with cold mojito alongside it was a perfect treat .

I would definitely come back again and will try other options .

OVERPRICED RIBEYE STEAKS, BURNT, AND UNEVENLY COOKED!

Ordered two 14 oz rib-eye steaks (medium-well) for $45 a piece and received a piece of steak that most certainly was not 14 oz, unevenly cooked, and a quarter of it was burnt to a crisp. Their steaks USED to be made well and a good size, but each time I go for steak to kallistos they continue to make the pieces smaller and smaller—either start giving larger pieces that are actually 14 oz or lower the price because the steaks they are currently giving are most certainly not worth the price based on their size and quality. Additionally the mushroom sauce got changed and seemed like they just whipped something up—it’s not the same as it used to be. It must be a trend across all the kallistos locations because they’re all giving unevenly cooked and miniature sized steaks.

The food was really good. We got steaks, burgers and Nashville chicken sandwich. They were all really tastey. And the mashed potatoes were particularly flavorful and amazing! Staff was super nice. Good atmosphere. We really enjoyed and would love to go again.

My entire dining experience was fantastic . I had the 12 oz Ribeye and it turned out to be one of the Best steaks I've ever had. Their staff was very attentive, knowledgeable, friendly..awesome outgoing waiter. Great way to end my day.

Popped in to get a wrap so could eat on the road while driving...big mistake...not rolled tightly...one bite all inners spilled out onto my lap...the inners...lack luster...saturated with a whitish sauce..all on taste...won't be going back...

Absolutely fantastic selection alongside the recent price reductions makes this place a must- visit in the area.
The smash burgers were incredible
And the seasoned fries were good, albeit on the saltier side.

What a great restaurant! Clean, friendly atmosphere, combined with great customer service. We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, and the chicken sandwich burger sandwich. We asked for onion rings and fries. It was all great food. I will definitely going back.

Burgers were good also, but minor adjustments. I’d suggest smashing the burgers flatter. The tip is to put all your strength on it because when you smash a burger, the juices go out so the point of a smashed burger is to be crispy. Also the bread could be toasted using the juices that come out of the burger.
