My two boys, my husband, and I just enjoyed the most delicious breakfast at North Star Restaurant. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier, the customers were amazingly warm, and the food brought back memories of mornings with my grandma. We can’t wait to stop here again on future drives to PA.

Stopped in today after going to the sunflower fest down the road. Great atmosphere, burger was one of the best ive had and my wife loved her BLT. They don't take cards, but do have an ATM on site. Definitely hope to return!

What a wonderful surprise on our travel day near Roanoke! The outside of the building is nothing notable, but the food is absolutely worth the drive to enjoy a fresh, tasty and filling breakfast. I ordered one egg, biscuit and grilled ham. The egg was cooked perfectly, the biscuit is by far one of the best I have ever had (even in the deep south), and the thick slices of ham were delicious and very plentiful. That biscuit was fresh, soft, tasty, and a good size. I had to get another on for a take out, and my husband did as well... though he added chicken to his biscuit. He ordered 2 pancakes for his breakfast, and they are thick, tasty, and the size of a dinner plate! He couldn't even finish them! I highly recommend this place, and Mary was a very attentive and friendly server/waitress/hostess. My husband said he will drive the 45 minutes there (each way) any morning just to have breakfast!

Good, home-cooked food at unbelievably low prices. Very clean bathroom and restaurant. Waitress was super nice. We got the biscuits and gravy, western omelet, and scrambled eggs with bacon. Everything was cooked to order and tasted fresh. Came here with our two year old son and didn’t have any second glances.

Very pleasantly surprised by my first visit here. My boyfriend has been raving about this place for 2 years, but we are never in the area for it so we have never had the chance to go. The portions are a great size, especially for the price. The food is incredible and actually quality food. We both got double cheeseburgers that were delicious and we even had to take half of it home. He also got himself 2 hotdogs and they were good. He got me a to-go chocolate eclair slice and you definitely have to try one because it is absolutely one of the best I have ever had! Waitress was super Nice And attentive. I felt bad for her for how busy the place was running around the whole restaurant.
They have an ATM machine in the restaurant, or you can just bring cash.
