Made reservation, only to have them cancel it a couple of hours before we were to go there. They claimed they had "things to do" and were closing for the rest of the day...no clarification. So we had to scramble to make reservations at another place on the lake.

The food lacks taste. Guests were turned away due not having a reservation. No one was there and plenty of empty tables available.

I will start with the positive. The view and outdoor seating area was gorgeous. Unfortunately, the food left much to be desired! You will be smart to stick with appetizers here. Our crab balls and shrimp were very good. The main appetizers were extremely basic and lacked flavor, seasoning, and quality. The children’s fries literally tasted like they were microwaved;stale and soggy at best. Many things were out of stock due to a storm “last week,” and the waitress seemed annoyed to be serving us. For this quality of food I would expect much lower menu pricing. All around a disappointment. Such a shame for such a pretty spot!

Jumbo lump Crab cakes are on point, real deal!!! Cold beverages, beautiful lake front setting, and cool staff. What else can you ask for? Awesome restaurant! ??

The food was good, but the waiters are clearly understaffed and doing all they can do to keep up. Wait time to get a table is excessive.

Jerk nachos were nasty. There were big chunks of Chicken, not enough cheese and tomatoes were mushy. Our veggie were cold on our entrees. Salmon was good, but a little too much of the honey glaze. Desserts were good. Prices were reasonable. Service was good.

Great scenery but they have no passion for food. The "Salt and Vinegar" cucumbers were just sliced cucumbers with nothing on them. The burgers tasted off and weren't cooked fully. The mustard packets are expired or something because it was like solid. If this place had a passionate cook it would be amazing.

First visit, nice cocktail(s), pimento cheese appetizer was really good, entre of shrimp and crab cake really good, wife got salmon and liked it too.

Service was fantastic, crabcakes were out of this world good, we were glad they had drink specials because for a pretty casual place (plastic cups, not very comfortable seating , etc) we thought the food prices were a little steep. Beautiful setting!

Had a large group of family. The reservation was not precise, but staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good. And the rain stopped in time for some pix by the lake in the final glow of the sunset. Nice view.

Awesome view, great little place. Menu has no descriptions and is very small/simple. Food not so great and portions very small for the price. This place could have such great potential!

The food was good and it is on the water. However we waited over an hour for our food. It appears there was an issue because our server was not using the current menu. It seems this was not brought to her attention until after we had already been waiting at least a half an hour. The waitress was very apologetic. However it would have been nice if the kitchen staff had alerted her to the issue when the order was placed. I also would have expected the owner or manager to have visited our table. Neither of which happened.

As locals, we love the summer season when Anna Cabana opens up to serve food on the lake. The crab cakes are delicious! Great location, great owners and staff, and great place to enjoy on 'lake time' while there.

Tasty food. Limited menu, but everything was yummy. Good service too!

Stopped by not expecting much, the location from the water was pretty bland - nothing to entice you in other than a large Anna Cabana sign that Uncle Dave made.Server was very friendly and had our party seated outside where the scenery suddenly flipped, becoming this absolutely spectacular, unobstructed view of the lake which was an absolute joy, especially as dusk approached!I then see food served on other tables in disposable containers so my expectations plummeted as I consoled myself with thinking this would be your basic hot dog and french fries fair. But it's RONA-RAMA out there right now so of course they're following health and safety guidelines, so perhaps there's hope for something a little more "fancy".....right?As soon as I saw bacon wrapped bbq scallops on the menu it was game over, I was sold. We picked out most of the starters on the menu and everyone in our group selected a different entree and I have to tell you it was just fantastic - all of it every single dish was top shelf. Prepared by a Chef not a Waffle House line cook, if you get my meaning? Pro Tip: The fried n fluffy pita chips with hummus are the ultimate! We couldn't stop talking about this "super secret" find that we were so arrogantly sure no one else knew about and couldn't be happier with ourselves for this amazing discovery! We also noted that boat parking is somewhat limited, possibly room for 8-10 boats? (Apologies if I got this number wrong, I'll be sure to edit on my next visit) but it does seem this is by design, so it can never get too overcrowded, which is just awesome for this spot. Very nicely done. We're new residents at the lake and can't wait to bring our friends here again. 5 stars all day, easily.
