I love El Gran Patron Mexican Restaurant in Bumpass, VA. The food is excellent and the drinks are above par. Nice, nice serving staff. I couldn’t believe this restaurant was in a rural area, but here it is. Nothing else is in the immediate area, but I’m fine with this being the only restaurant around. Price is not the expensive for the quality you get.

Service was awful. Took a long time to get our appetizers and drinks. The guacamole looked like it had already been eaten out of. The one drink was poorly made and tasted nothing like it should have. Overall, a poor night all around.
Parking: Parking is gated and you have to get a code to enter to open the gate inorder to exit.

My husband did a pick up order. We ordered cheese on the side and it wasn’t even enough for one taco. It was missing half of the tortillas it was supposed to include. We are highly disappointed.

Don’t waste your time, I’m done giving this place business, you have a 50/50 shot to get the right order on take out. I just waited for 45 minutes for them to tell me they gave my order to someone else. Sorry we can make you a new order. Multiple bad experiences.
