I love El Gran Patron Mexican Restaurant in Bumpass, VA. The food is excellent and the drinks are above par. Nice, nice serving staff. I couldn’t believe this restaurant was in a rural area, but here it is. Nothing else is in the immediate area, but I’m fine with this being the only restaurant around. Price is not the expensive for the quality you get.
I ordered take out. They forgot the drinks in the order, but quickly made them. The food was excellent. The daquari's were awesome and HUGE

Wow! Best authentic Mexican food we've found in the area. Salsa just the way I like them, but the store bought tortilla chips disappointed us. Still a 5 star experience. We plan to visit their other location.
