Their food is absolutely delicious!! Our waitress Nakia was awesome! We had a large party and she was spot on with everyone’s orders. I had the smothered porkchop, fried fish, collards and Mac & cheese. The restaurant has a nice cozy, southern, hole in the wall atmosphere. I will definitely be back again!

My mom turned 90 and this was her choice for dinning... the food was OUTSTANDING! not a long wait, reasonably priced, friendly hometown atmosphere, everybody friendly, older building but everything is clean, good location, right off the highway, they have a banquet rooom/hall, plenty of parking, in the quiet town of burkeville.... now my negatives: I constantly needed my tea refilled ( 12/16 oz cups) it was FULL of ice so I only had about 5 Oz of drink, good waiter but he didn't check on us enough "for me," but again good waiter... the booths maybe a little tight for BIG folks, but the tables do slide and there are chairs to sat at the end of the tables for such a person, the bathrooms could use renovating, advertise for passing drivers on hwy ( last eatery for mileS)...we had a GREAT TIME and I believe you will too, worth the visit
If you want some good old soul food this is the place to go. Hard to find soul food cook just right hot and delicious. Good prices too.. Even got homemade desserts too.. This is where it's at.

Passed this place while traveling through. It does look like an office building but it is a restaurant. The people are very friendly and the food was perfect. Home cooked, southern food.My only gripe is they serve on disposables with plastic utensils. That made it hard to eat my pork chop.Otherwise, I highly recommend this place.
