Authentic Mexican cuisine at a great price. The staff is always friendly and service is great. I don’t know how they do it but the food is consistently top notch along with the service.

My family's favorite local place. The fresh guacamole is expensive but absolutely worth it-so good I forgot to take the picture before we almost are all of it! I had the taco lunch special and the beef was so flavorful and tender and they have Pibb Exxtra which I'm always excited to get when I see it. Very friendly staff that recognizes regulars.

We’ve been going to Los Portales for over 20 years. We went again tonight and were shocked at the price increases. 3.99 for a coke. When ordering an entree, you used to get a choice of rice or salad. We ordered rice tonight and when we got the bill-we were charged 3.99 for rice. We were not told there would be an extra charge. And all orders that came with a small dollop of guacamole -no longer do. As much as we love this restaurant-it is now out of our price range. Too much of an increase too fast-could have saved on the new menus and added some guac. !

Really good cheesy/hot/plentiful dishes. Nice folks.

Only quibble is it was a little cool (72 degrees) inside. Would have been nice yesterday (98 degrees), but today (75 degrees it was a bit much.

One of the best restaurants in the Northern Neck! Always friendly and attentive service. We never have to wait long for drinks or food. Always delicious and consistent with quality!

We took a large group to Los Portales and they could not have been more accomdating. They immediately put tables together for us and gave very attentive service. We were blown away with the speed at which our food was served up despite the size of our party. Food was delicious and drinks were spectacular. I highly recommend getting the Margaritas (personally got a large margarita), they mix them to perfection. Would absolutely dine here again in the future!
