This place is an absolute must if you're goung through Callao! I would like to mention first that they do appear to be closed often, not entirely sure why. This establishment is a quaint, local fast-food joint. The service was a little slow when we came, but it was 4th of July weekend so I believe it's typically not slow. Priced were fantastic. We ordered all sorts of food. Sides, burgers, milkshakes, sandwiches, etc. Everyone was fine with their food. The staff members were very kind and outgoing as well. I'm so glad my fsmily and I were finally able to stop by, and I absolutely reccommend it for anyone who is interested.

Need to start off with over stating that the food is AWESOME. Pricing is beyond fair. The facility needs to be a bit attended to. They need to play low music or something, just too quiet and small place. You can’t avoid “listening” to others conversation. Highly recommended, just needs a bit of tweaking.

I love Tootsie’s Diner. We had a long kitchen remodel last fall and I relied on Tootsie for lunch and dinner many days. Love the menu- faves are Callao Club sandwich, mushroom Swiss burger, strawberry pecan spinach salad & fried Oreos. Sending ☮️ and ❤️ to Tootsie and her staff!!!

Home town eat-em-up joint. 50's diner theme. This is where the Callao " been here's " and locals pile into every lunch time. Parking lot is always full of hard working folks that roll in for cheap good food. When I say good, I'm talking a big menu with burgers being the signature item. I'm gonna go on the record and say it's the best burger in the Northern Neck. Sorry NN Burger. You can have the tourists line up at your hyped up venue. Tootsies skips the hype and delivers a fat tasty hand formed patty that'll blow your hair back. Pair with some tots and a shake, man you're living right. Prices? CHEAP. They could easily charge more but keep it well below what other restaurants charge for similar fare. Look, not many eating options in these parts but hey, this place is all you need. Who needs lousy chain restaurants anyways? Come spend your hard earned money at this family run place and experience Northern Neck hospitality.

When I had dinner at Tootsie's I was extremely satisfied with their burgers. I appreciated that their burgers always come with a LARGE patty. Tootsie's also has great hot dogs, onion rings, and milkshakes. This place is just as good if not better than NN Burgers. Will definitely be going back again next week!
