Caramel and key lime icecream were delicious! Creamy and not gritty like some homemade icecream.

It's literally the best ice cream in South East Virginia. It's a little hokey inside but I love it.

We've been coming here for several years. During Warmer weather we drive over from Chesapeake almost every weekend. Ice cream is the best in town. Staff is always very friendly! They make their ice cream themselves and it's always creamy and delicious. Somehow they come up with the craziest flavors (Popcorn is my current fave) and they are all to die for! Check their Facebook for current flavors as they change often! Can't recommend them enough!

Almost joy and Chickostick were great but a mini serving would have been plenty, 1 scoop is a lot of ice cream!

I arrived in the evening of a hot day, so there were plenty of customers—on the other hand, there were four attentive “slingers,” so all of us were served enormous scoops of excellent ice cream at $7 per scoop tax paid (you add whatever tip you will). The ice cream I chose was a coffee with pieces of toffee, but the choices were many and the ice cream was cold enough to stay on the cone evidently for as long as it took to consume, no matter what you had chosen.

I believe the posted price of $10,000 for a hand-packed pint of ice cream is a bit of drollery, but you may want to check before you hand over your credit card—which they will accept.

Parties arrived in twos up to about eights, but everyone seemed to settle in both indoors and out. When I arrived one young woman was happily licking her cone while sitting in the open trunk of her car—I thought she would make a nice picture, but she thought not. I had to settle for a picture of the facade of the building.

In searching for Cone Slingers at dusk, it is probably best to watch for the Exxon station and turn into that parking lot.

Parking: The spaces are large enough and well-marked. I did not actually count the number of them, so there may not be “plenty,” but there probably are plenty.

Kid-friendliness: All the young people seemed VERY HAPPY. The old people, of course, had picked up the tab and were thinking up a whiny review.

Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of level surfaces and the door seems pretty wide.

Please specify if the ice cream itself is made with eggs. We see your allergen list and when asking staff the response was "I don't know, there is the list, and I don't make the ice cream" with that being said, the ice cream is good but when having an egg allergy it is important to specific. We almost didn't order and there were four of us but because we had been here before with the person with the egg allergy and they were okay, we took a chance that we were told in the past that there are no eggs in the ice cream itself.

My grandparents showed me this place and we sometimes go for a treat together, it’s rare for all of us to love the same place but this is one of them! Love the range of flavors and that it is comparable in price to national competitors and is generally higher quality.
