Several years ago: Wonderful atmosphere and delicious food done right. As a Tejana, I'm homesick, being so far from Texas and its exceptional Tex-Mex. This certainly alleviates this situation!
Edit: May 14, 2025: The atmosphere has changed. We're usually very welcomed as we are a Spanish and Portuguese speaking family and this time it was met with low-key annoyance. There was another group that came in about half an hour or so after us and that same waiter was very attentive to them, making sure they were comfortable, whereas we had to beg for a basket of totopos. He was annoyed when he brought it to us. Our plastic glasses of water - which we also had to beg for, smelled awful like they had been cleaned in floor cleaner. Usually, we pay our bill at the table, but the waiter never returned, so they apparently don't do that anymore so be sure to pay at the front. We were really polite to our waiter and always told him thank you whenever he brought us anything. At least we tried to be nice.

The truth is, well, the only thing that's bad is the service staff, they serve you too much, they make you look bad, they even made me almost throw away, the plate of food looks bad taste, I don't like it, they need more friendly people who do it well. The work and don't do it expecting a damn tip, being nicer, they earn it better, even for asking for an extra game, they get Bravo as if they were giving it away.
