We stopped to get gas on our way home, and discovered Champs Chicken. It was so good, and probably some of the best food we had on our trip. The chicken was great and the potato wedges were awesome. The service was fast even though they were busy, and the ladies working there were super friendly. We will definitely stop in the next time we are in Virginia, which will be soon.
Stopped in for lunch and this place is a hidden gem! The smell of the food and the line to order food was our sign that we stopped at the right place for lunch! Large menu of thing to pick from. The ladies working there are so friendly and efficient! I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and potato wedges. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor! The potato wedges were cooked to perfection! I will definitely stop in again if I’m passing thru again!
I had a great experience at this place in regard to what I ate. I had a fried chicken sandwich, and it was phenomenal! Not a negative thing to say about it. A few in our party also had the chicken salad sandwich, and the Reuben and it was all good there too. I will say we almost didn't go into the gas station because of how it looked from the outside. But I am glad we did. That is one knock, it looked shabby. And then the sides behind the glass seemed like they had been sitting...
