Don Camaron Seafood Restaurant

Had scallops and cod for dinner. Was well prepared and not over seasoned. Staff was nice and polite. Will be revisiting again to get a Mariscada.

Service was great. Food was okay.

The food is wonderful and the service is great!! I ordered baby shrimp w/ potato medley and hush puppies.

The Seafood was delicious, we had scallops and white fish. Everything was tasty, sides were rice, a potato medley, broccoli 🥦 and hush puppies.

Had the pescado zarandeado ..white fish perfectly cooked with excellent spicy sauce.
Love the authentic Spanish atmosphere (tv had soccer game in Spanish in background and music)
Service was excellent...friendly, checked on us often.
Not sure why this restaurant is not better known in this area.

Our first experience and definitely not our last, the seafood was fresh and prepared perfectly. We were the only patrons for lunch but it was a snow day. Can’t wait to go back.

Diverse seafood menu with an emphasis on Mexican style specialties. We had a more traditional fried seafood meal. The fried scallops were particularly delicious (lightly breaded which brought out the tenderness and quality of the scallops). For the more adventurous. there are specialty soups with wide array of seafood. I want to come back and try some of their specialty dishes.

It was a beautiful day so we sat outside. I had grilled scallops and shrimp. It was very good. My husband had cod with coconut sauce. What impressed me so much is that I was able to get the grilled scallops and shrimp together even though they were not listed on the menu. Also, my husband was able to choose the type of fish he wanted and what sauce he wanted to go with it. So if you want to mix something different than what is on the menu, don’t be afraid to ask. They are very accommodating.

If someone normal was forced to eat that. I would emigrate even if I had to swim across the Atlantic.
Living in the US is only for those who don't know anything else.

My wife and I were recently out in the Cave Spring area and just did a search for Restaurants… Don Cameron sounded interesting so we gave it a shot…so glad we did! The place is clean, service is excellent but beyond that and most importantly, the food is terrific! I had fried flounder and oysters. The flounder was cooked to perfection…crispy on the outside and nice and flaky inside with no grease or fishy smell…yummy! The oysters were perfect as well…crispy but all you want in fried oysters..salad was fresh and the hush puppies were great. My wife had the Coconut shrimp and loved it as well. Prices were very fair for the portion size. I hear the catfish is great as well but with the flounder being this good I may not get to try it for a while. They have some intriguing south of the border takes on other seafood/fish dishes and I plan to try those as well. If you’re looking for some good food at a family owned restaurant give them a try!

The food was delicious. Hush puppies with a really nice fry and a hint of garlic. The grilled shrimp was tender and juicy. The catfish was lightly battered and well seasoned. The scallops were small but still quite tasty. The broccoli had a nice firm bite and good freshness. I drank two bottles of Miller Lite and she brought ice cold mugs for each beer. The restaurant was very clean and a bit quaint . Log cabin interior with sea themed artwork. The chairs were comfortable. A family place but I enjoyed it with my wife.
