OTH Chophouse & Oyster Bar

Decided to try this place out to celebrate our birthdays and we were not disappointed! Our waiter was very attentive, the food was delicious, and we had a great view of the sunset. My husband loved the crab cakes and my steak was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back to celebrate our next special occasion.

We arrived with a 7:15 reservation about 5 minutes early. We had heard alot about the venue and were excited to come here to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. Upon entry we were met with a completely disinterested hostess who rather than greeting us simply said "reservation?". I replied yes and the hostess motioned us to follow her where we were sat at the first table they passed in a half empty dining room. We sat down and figured out the appetizers we wanted as well as drinks. 15 minutes passed and no one came by to take our order. No one greeted us or apologized for a delay. No water. No bread. No sorry we are busy... nothing. The table to our right was complaining fairly loudly about the length of time they waited for their food and a few moments later we watched an exasperated waiter hand what appeared to be a very hot plate to the patron. We waited another 5 minutes before we left. As we went out the door the same disinterested hostess said "I hope you enjoyed your meal" without even looking up from her phone. We said thanks but it had been 20 minutes and no one even came to wait on us to which she responded, "See ya!" It was very disappointing.

Food was delicious and prepared to perfection. Tastiest seafood we have ever had. Wait staff was awesome (Greg) and were extremely helpful for our first time thee. We will be back often to try different dishes. Thank you for making our anniversary memorable.

Matt is an excellent server! very attentive with a great personality. Love the Atmosphere with the big windows looking out to the mountains.
the food was just ok. The quality of the sea bass was not very good especially for 42.00. they will to buy a higher quality on the seafood and butter for the bread.

Steaks small for the price. My cut a little too fatty. Strange seafood decor...very odd. It took a while to get served, but staff friendly and aims to please.

Service as always very good. Food is above average, but entre portions are small. Eating early means things are quiet and nothing feels rushed and besides you can get a window table. Just an FYI, the Caesar salad will serve two

We've been here twice when my daughter-in-law's parents visit from Ohio. This may be our go to place when they visit. Both times Matt has been our server and he is awesome! The food is fabulous from appetizers to entrees. We're always too full for dessert but they sound delicious. You can't go wrong with this beautiful restaurant with gorgeous views of the mountains. Highly recommend!

The staff was exceptional, always on spot, never had to wait, everything wanted was delivered before we asked, conversation let me know they were well informed on our special occasion. The food was cooked perfectly. Old favorites with that delightful twist that made them just that much better. Wonderful night out Thank you Alyson C.

Sonny was awesome in terms of service. If you visit this establishment, try to request him for sure. He isn't there every day from what management shared with me, but I really suggest requesting him because this was the first time visiting this place and he is the only server that I have experience with and he was nothing short of awesome. Having said this, I also had special requests and they were taken care of by the staff. It was the Birthday dinner for my wife and every request was fulfilled. She, myself, my daughter and her guest were pleasantly satisfied with our dinner. The bill was high, but no complaints on quality of service, or food. The whole team, from the online reservation,the hostesses, the sever and management hit a home run with this visit. The seating arrangement isn't crowded and there is also an option for outdoor seating. I would definitely visit in the future and recommend you to try it.

Our new favorite brunch place. I have sent several people over there for brunch and there have been nothing but glowing reviews. The thing that concerns me the most is that you are not promoting this fabulous place. While I was there, I decided I would write a review on your website but then I decided since you are not promoting your brunch, you must not care. I really do hope you are able to stay alive for Sunday brunch because it is delicious. The food and staff are excellent! I think you owe it to Roanoke to get this out there.

First time dining here. Had dined many times at this location under previous restaurant and ownership. There were 4 of us family members. We were seated immediately and did have reservations through Open Table. Our server was excellent and made suggestions also. Three of us had steaks and one salmon. All excellent. We did order appetizers and each were great also. I would highly recommend having dinner here and we will certainly return.

Started with the fried oysters - they were good and I really enjoyed the breading. It had good flavor and a good crisp! The steak was wonderfully prepared and tasted very good. The scallops were fine, not the best I've ever had but still good and worth trying out. The vibe was more relaxed (compared to Frankie's which is owned by the same people) but overall the space was nice and enjoyable.
