The crab dip was good, but the round tortilla chips paired with it were an odd choice. Ordered a medium rare ribeye that came out medium. Not terrible but wasn't very flavorful either. The twice baked potato was too soupy. Maybe less butter or sour cream would be better. The server was nice but didn't ask to serve another beer until we were done. The place is a neat eclectic place that was formerly a farm and fun to hang out in. I can't remember what if any music was playing. I will try it again next time I'm here. All in all it's a good place, especially with limited choices in the area that I've found so far.

This place was awful!! Would not recommend it! Customer service was terrible. they didn't take care of anything and didn't refill drinks. Food took forever, and food had no flavor! Don't eat here.

Baffling experience. This place WAS a local legend, but my god what a sad fall from grace.
Wanna start by saying our server was nice and the only beacon of hope.
Pulled pork was dry and had absolutely zero smoke or flavor. Ribs legit tasted like crock pot ribs from Kroger DROWNING in kc masterpiece. Fried squash blossoms were nothing more than a grease sponge with zero flavor. Even our server agreed with that. Said they hated them too. Fries were cheap & frozen.
Filet satay was actually delicious but the portion we received was laughable. 2oz of beef between 6 skewers. Not 2oz each. 2oz total.
Finally stopped in after all these years and expectations and I can 100% say there’s no reason to return ever.
If you’re in the area I recommend the Walmart gas station over this place.
After spending $95 which was the biggest waist of money I wanted to warn people before they go. This was our first time eating here and we assumed it was a bbq place bc of the pigs outside and the smoker. I got the ribs and they were straight up out of the crock pot. They were so drenched in this real dark bbq sauce that was not edible They were the worse thing I’ve ever had. You couldn’t stand to eat them. Then we got a child’s pizza off of the child’s menu that was $16 which was the cheapest thing u could get on the child’s menu, I’m pretty sure it was frozen. I wish there was at least 1 thing I could say that was good but there wasn’t. Beware of this place. It’s way overpriced and nothing is good.
I’ve been going here since I was a little boy, and I’ve never had a bad meal. This is a wonderful little gem in Southwestern VA.

My husband and I came to dinner for our anniversary and the waitress was absolutely amazing...I think her name is Sallie B. I had the pork nachos and he had the slow roasted prime brisket with baked potato. Food was great, service excellent, will definitely be back

Disgusting attitudes, please see past reviews from recently to far back, god forbid your food is not how you ASKED for it, or it came out totally wrong "the business is always right" last time I checked, the customer would be right if their food was improperly prepared, and to Kathy, who runs the cash register, you have 0 customer service skills, Big Mike Thompson would be disgusted to see how his restaurant is being ran. Little Mike, if you want to stay in business, I think its time for Yvonne, Kathy and some other of the "old birds" to be either behind the scense or gone.

What a strange experience… six of us visited for dinner and none of us enjoyed our food. The crab cheese dip appetizer came with small tortilla chips, definitely not made fresh. The dip was pretty thin and had the tiniest hint of crab taste. In my opinion it should’ve been cheesier and have more crab flavor. The brisket was dry and overcooked. Pictured is my leftover brisket and bread. The prices are very high, sides aren’t included but our server didn’t say that. When she took our order we said the entree we wanted and then she asked right away what side, which led me to believe at least one side was included for an expensive entree - but alas you pay an extra $4 for one small, shriveled, poorly cooked baked potatoes. The brisket costs $22. They offer “skanky” mac, which is mac n cheese with bleu cheese and it was pretty gross (it lived up to the name ?) and it was a super small portion. Atmosphere is a little weird but initially we thought it might be kind of fun. No music playing, just lots of weird paintings. The booth seats were comfortable at least but that’s probably the only positive thing I have to say here.

My son I love Cuzs but the cashier that works there is not friendly toward us at all she never smiles at us just like a dreaded look on her face when she sees us my son will spend $200 when he comes, because the way this woman acts toward him not friendly he no longer wants to eat at Cuzs we are paying customers don’t deserve to be treated like we don’t belong there, someone really needs to have a talk with her about her unfriendly attitude sorry we will not be back.

I don’t know what’s going on here but the BBQ is the worst I ever had in my life. How’s the place smell like good bbq but they bring you grey old brisket. No flavor on any of the food id rather have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich then come back here

The family was in the area for a college baseball game. Ordered the brisket dinner. Advertised as slow cooked but came pan fried. Maybe that's the reheating process. Either way, I could not eat it. Chewy doesn't even come close. They did offer another slice to see if it was better, but I was done with eating (chewing) brisket. Excellent service, and the atmosphere was fine. My advice is just don't eat the brisket.
