This was absolutely the worst food I have ever eat. Way overpriced nothing I had was good. I had catfish baked potato and salad. The bread is absolutely ridiculous The catfish was mud. The price was really ridiculous. If you are looking for a place to eat please don't stop here.

Another visit. Excellent again. Grilled and fried halibut super, veggies and asparagus good. The peach crème brûlée was the topper!

All our dinners were excellent, well cooked and fresh. Chef salad, grilled salmon, prime rib were each very good. Baked potato with cheese and scallions was super as were grilled wild mushrooms. Crème brule was a nice finish. Better than our last trip and similar to the old days. We’ve eaten here for many years. Pricey but worth it.

Unique atmosphere. Server was fantastic. Smoked prime rib cooked medium rare as requested and delicious. Huge serving too a lot home. Best prime rib I've had in a long time.

Been here several times but today will be our last time here. We ordered crab cheese dip- it arrived as a bowl of melted velveeta cheese with no crab and store bought Tostitos. Then they brought what we ordered: I ordered brisket with twice baked potato. Counted in the meat of the brisket were 2 slices of pure fat and the twice baked potato was cold. My husband ordered the catfish- it had absolutely no seasoning on it. It was like spongy water. We did let our waitress know that the dip wasn’t good and the other problems. She brought me another plate and the brisket was good and the potato was hot. However, customer service is highly lacking. I thought with the multiple problems they would at least take the dip off of our bill ( we couldn’t eat it ) That’s a big NOPE. Our waitress said “I am sorry for your experience- come back again and we’ll make it up to you.” Why wouldn’t you make it up to us right then and there? We weren’t expecting a free meal. We have no reason to return- so there’s no way to make it up to us. You’ve lost some loyal customers. We are highly disappointed.

My food was good and the bread was good but the rest of my family had horrible experience the French fries were old and not fresh had to reorder them and they brought the same sorry fries the cat fish was greasy and nasty the brisket was cold and the worst part is $137 dollars for cold food stale fries and greasy nasty catfish the white rice isn't worth eating either
The atmosphere wasn't bad because people seemed to be happy and another thing why don't y'all have better seats no one wants to pay $52 for a steak to sit in a lawn chair and table and the bathroom was unsightly

Love this place for many years! So unexpected combination of foods in Pounding Mills VA. Their steaks are excellent and crazy portions. So many appetizers to choose from... Had the mushrooms, oysters, catfish bites and fried jalapeños - all excellent! I've never had their BBQ. It's the only thing other people have ordered and not liked that I know of. Not sure why really. So I've had seafood curry, steaks, fish - excellent.
The decor is eclectic to say the least.
Hope they continue to provide excellent service and delicious food in the Blue Ridge! Thank u

The crab dip was good, but the round tortilla chips paired with it were an odd choice. Ordered a medium rare ribeye that came out medium. Not terrible but wasn't very flavorful either. The twice baked potato was too soupy. Maybe less butter or sour cream would be better. The server was nice but didn't ask to serve another beer until we were done. The place is a neat eclectic place that was formerly a farm and fun to hang out in. I can't remember what if any music was playing. I will try it again next time I'm here. All in all it's a good place, especially with limited choices in the area that I've found so far.

This place was awful!! Would not recommend it! Customer service was terrible. they didn't take care of anything and didn't refill drinks. Food took forever, and food had no flavor! Don't eat here.
