We used to love this place, but quality has dropped a lot. Smaller chicken pieces, often very dry. A couple years ago it was much better. It's a real shame they didn't keep the quality up.

We’ve ordered from this Bonchon for a long time and it’s gone way downhill.

This last order was honestly gross.
The chicken was chewy and weird, like low-quality meat, and there was barely any sauce on it. A couple pieces were so bad we didn’t even eat them. It really feels like they changed the type of chicken they use.

The fries were soggy and overcooked and just tasted like old oil, not fresh at all.

For the price, it’s just not worth it anymore. Bonchon used to feel like a treat, but the last two orders have both been bad. We won’t be ordering from this location again.

We were served chicken bites that were hard as rocks and frankly inedible. When we told our server, she nodded her head and handed us the check. Not the way to handle the situation and probably won't be back.

Slimmbeauty

I usually love this restaurant and often visit the location near my home in Delaware, which has always been excellent. Unfortunately, my experience at the Virginia location was disappointing. The food tasted old, and the cucumbers that are normally included in the dish were missing. In addition, the bag wasn’t properly sealed, which raised concerns about tampering. Sadly, I won’t be ordering from this location again.

This is probably one of the better Bonchon Stores in NoVa area. We've tried most of them multiple times but this place is the most consistent with flavor and quality of the chicken. We always get from this South Riding location

Shrinkflation on Lunch Strips in effect: almost 40 percent less food for around 10% less cost… not worth the price anymore. Rice was mushy on top of that.

My first time here, I got 8 Korean bbq strips & Kimchi. It was perfect and they weee lightning fast from order to counter! Awesome! Thanks ya’ll🙂🙏

Fried rice was very good. I got it for pickup. I even got to have to some things taken out of it I didn't want in it. I love Korean fried rice making it at home. And this came close. Hope my second time here is just as good.

Pickup order. Street corn, 20 boneless wings, and japchae. All three dishes were over salted. The boneless wings were a disappointment as I’ve had them from another popular Korean fried chicken place and the meat is dark and/or white meat chicken unlike Bonchon’s glorified chicken nuggets of processed chicken meat that felt spongy and weird to the tongue. This use to be a top notch place. Placed order online. Didn’t show a convenience fee, just tax. After placing the order and receipt was send they cover it up under sales tax. You only see this after you paid. We ordered the mixed chicken and was ready in less than 15 min. That can’t be fresh and it showed it was not freshly fried. On their menu it showing twice fried. The drums were dried out to the bone. I even have doubt that they are using fresh oil everyday. Never again. Initially I stumbled over the fee. For them it’s convenient, it should not be charged to the customer. One would expect freshly fried like it used to be for the price they are charging for the food items. No more.

Walked in at 825 and told could not be seated. Too late. Restaurant closes at 9. Now second time we have been turned away.
