Pickup order. Street corn, 20 boneless wings, and japchae. All three dishes were over salted. The boneless wings were a disappointment as I’ve had them from another popular Korean fried chicken place and the meat is dark and/or white meat chicken unlike Bonchon’s glorified chicken nuggets of processed chicken meat that felt spongy and weird to the tongue. This use to be a top notch place. Placed order online. Didn’t show a convenience fee, just tax. After placing the order and receipt was send they cover it up under sales tax. You only see this after you paid. We ordered the mixed chicken and was ready in less than 15 min. That can’t be fresh and it showed it was not freshly fried. On their menu it showing twice fried. The drums were dried out to the bone. I even have doubt that they are using fresh oil everyday. Never again. Initially I stumbled over the fee. For them it’s convenient, it should not be charged to the customer. One would expect freshly fried like it used to be for the price they are charging for the food items. No more.

Walked in at 825 and told could not be seated. Too late. Restaurant closes at 9. Now second time we have been turned away.

Extremely slow service. Had to wait 35–40 minutes for just one order. Definitely not worth the wait. Very disappointed.

Worst customer service ever. Better train your staff specially that brown guy (im not being racist its the fact) and if the restaurant is busy dont take the order had to wait 1 hour just to get the food which i had ordered online.

Maybe one of the worst run locations. Zero communication when items were not in stock, and the phone or online orders ended up being 30+ minutes late for pick-up; office full of pissed off colleagues; defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. This is not the only BonChon or Korean fried chicken chain in the area. Definitely going elsewhere from now on.

The waiting time after ordering online and the additional waiting time after going to pick up are very different. Even when going to pick up, there is a long wait. The taste is good, but the quantity is too small for the price.

I usually spend over $100 every time I come to Bonchon, and this time I still dropped $50—yet this Chantilly location continues to be the worst one I’ve been to. They’re consistently stingy with sauces, sides, and just basic hospitality. No matter how much you spend, they act like giving you what you paid for is a burden.

I’ve been to several Bonchon locations and never had issues like this anywhere else. But this one? It’s always a hassle. The staff seem irritated when you ask for anything, and there’s always some excuse or attitude about simple requests.

If you want decent service or respect for being a loyal, high-spending customer, go anywhere but Chantilly. This location is a total disappointment—rude, cheap, and not worth your time or money.

I ordered Buldak here at the Chantilly, Va. location today for the first time I usually go to the Manassas or Gainesville location. The dish doesn’t even look the same and the taste isn’t close! I am sooo disappointed and will never return to this location again. I don’t know how a franchise can have one of their big menu dishes be so different from one location to another. And this location tried covering the lack of chicken with big broccoli and carrots with Cheese to hind the lack of Chicken. The other location is totally different and even the sauce isn’t the same. I wasn’t my money.
