Excellent restaurant! The food and service was perfect. A great place to go for a fine dining experience. Tableside presentations for some drinks and entrees. Live jazz band that was fantastic.

We were super excited to experience a nice dinner. Unfortunately, it wasn't. They charge a 5% service charge that is listed on the menu at 8 point size print. Additional their ounce pours are short. We know because we own a winery. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The manager was the highlight of our experience. She was kind, professional and friendly.
Wasn't great. Bourbon Boulevard is trying to be a great steakhouse, but it's not. Took my kids, spent more than $400 with salads, steak, sides and drinks (plus the 5% owner "service charge" add on that I didn't see until after I paid). The steaks were chewy and underseasoned, and the sides were bland and underseasoned, too. Had I read the reviews before going -- including the obnoxious owner responses to Google reviews -- I wouldn't have gone. I got a little concerned when I sat down and first looked at the menu -- a place that touts its steaks but also has chicken wings, humus platters and chicken tikka masala on the menu is a restaurant that can't decide what it wants to be. If you're looking for quality steak, don't go here. Capital Grill, Morton's or Ruth's Chris are far, far superior for the same price. Frankly, Outback would be better. So would Golden Corral. I hardly ever write reviews, but this was so underwhelming (and the owner so obnoxious) that I felt it was my responsiblility to warn others before they spent hundreds of dollars expecting something really good. Bourbon Boulevard is not that.
The hostess was friendly, and the waiter started out attentive and cheerful. The fig and goat cheese salad was flavorful and large enough to split. Then things slowed down and drinks were not refilled promptly. When the mains came out, the runner dropped them and then it was at least 10 mins before anyone checked on us. My rare filet was a hair overcooked but acceptable. My companion's medium rare NY strip was fully medium. Our garlic mashed potatoes were not hot. Once the waiter finally came by to check on us, there was very little concern for the overcooked steak. We then waited another 15 mins for the second steak, which was also how long it took to get a shot of bourbon. The second steak was dropped and the waiter still took a few minutes to check back. The second attempt was seriously undercooked, even more rare than my rare filet. At that point my companion gave up and started eating. When he told the waiter, again, there was very little apparent concern. We were left alone for quite a while before being asked about dessert, then the check was dropped and our waiter disappeared. The check had both NY strip steaks on it. We waited for a good 10 mins, then flagged down a busser to ask for our waiter. Almost 10 mins later, we flagged down another server, who offered to try to help, but couldn't once we explained. Our waiter finally came over a few more minutes later and said he'd noticed the problem when he was in the other room and had the proper bill ready. Again, minimal apology or concern. We never saw a manager. We looked around before leaving, even standing in the empty vestibule to look for one. The hostess was not at the hostess stand and we did not see anyone to ask to speak to a manager. I don't like to leave negative reviews without trying to talk to a manager in person, but had to get home. It was a disappointing experience at a place I had looked forward to trying.
We enjoyed our time at Bourbon Blvd for my parents anniversary dinner. We did think it was overpriced. We got the tomahawk (requested Medium cook) and it was overcooked. We paid $550 for 4 ppl. But we have to shout out our server that was very friendly and attentive. We also had the lobster mac and maple brussel sprouts which were really good. Not sure I would go again based on the price but there were some highlights for sure.
Excellent experience. The tomahawk ribeye was phenomenal as well as the cheese wheel pasta. The showmanship of the staff is world class. Dinner and entertainment in a classy lounge. Amazing selection of bourbon and whiskeys. Excellent place to celebrate a special occasion or just go have a wonderful meal and cocktail.
One of the best pure Steak Restaurants in the Northern Virginia area. Food was outstanding, and one of the best Bourbon and wine selections in the area. Service was great, our waiter Tony was amazing. Had a great conversation with "Pepe" the manager about their Bourbon and had the opportunity to savor a poor of William Larue Weller Limited Edition Barrel Proof. It was amazing! The one down side was that they have live music, and although they were good, they were way too loud.
I have eaten here for many years - and this would be my review every time: - Live music is loud -- too loud -- very hard to have a conversation. I have had this experience every, single time. - Service is horrific. Waiy staff do not know the food, get orders wrong, do not know their alcohols. Every time, same experience. Last night I ordered two smoked, old fashions, Widow Jane Rye whiskey. The server came to begin the smoke process and each of the two glasses had a different amount, different color liquid. I asked them to hold up - asked why the difference, and was told one was "some whiskey" (could not understand the server) because it was for the regular old fashioned and the other was Widow Jane for the (one) smoked old fashioned. I could rewite this story for every order I have placed, every visit. - Food is off the chart amazing -- unique variety of meat, always cooked to perfection -- packed with taste - Price point is high but actually -- the food is worth such -- The wait staff - again - are too low level for this place and kill the experience -- and the music is far, far too loud -- the volume needs to come down to something akin a Jazz bar volume. I think last night was sadly my last visit -- I dont mined the price point but for that I do want a good experience, good memory, etc.

The food was just okay, I ordered the Wagyu Burger and if came on a crusty bun that was over toasted, it just fell apart. The lobster bisk had one small piece of lobster in it. Overall way too expensive for the quality of food.
Went here for a birthday dinner. Has a great menu, lots of options. Everything we had was great. Service was very professional and friendly. I will defiantly be returning.
Amazing food and service. I particularly enjoyed my filet with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. My mocktail was amazing as well. Our party also enjoyed a bourbon tasting with the owner which was phenomenal! He's hilarious and had the best jokes. Will gladly return again soon!
Our food was absolutely delicious, but overall this restaurant is not worth the outrageous prices for everything on the menu. The service is far short of the standards one expects when three seared scallops (delicious) cost $59, ala carte steaks start at about $70 and zoom upwards precipitously, etc. We were surprised to find ourselves in a pretentious bar without even a tablecloth, servers who had a very relaxed attitude about their job, and a corroded salt shaker - symbolic of the entire experience.
We always enjoy going to this restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is great and we totally enjoy that there is live music to entertain. Thank you and we will be back!!
