Best cake in the area, hopefully they open more locations around here. Need plain vanilla with white icing and chocolate with white icing on Doordash and also UberEats!

I had a private party for my two daughters and it was AMAZING! Devon’s customer service is top notch! All the staff are so friendly and helpful. I had no stress at all throughout the party. As far the cakes they were best tasting cakes I have had! This place is definitely a place to have a party or just go for fun. Everyone that attended my event loved this place as well! We will definitely be back very soon! Thank you again Cake Time Staff! ?Vegetarian options: They have vegan option for one of the little bakers with a dairy allergy! She was so happy to be included!

We booked our daughter's 10th birthday here. She loves to cook and bake so this was the perfect venue. The store is clean and well organized and the party hosts were very attentive to us. The biggest drawback for us was the party details. The fairly steep fee only includes a 90 minute party and I didn't see any indication on the site where you could add additional time. Also, I think they assumed that since our party guests were tweens that they wouldn't need much help. But they absolutely did. Our group was filled with perfectionists and detail oriented kids who wanted their designs to closely match the samples in the store. They needed more help than 1 attendant could provide. On another note, we purchased some additional day old cupcakes to have at home and they were absolutely delicious.

We went there to celebrate our 9 year olds birthday. The idea of decorating cakes and the environment as we walked in had the girls excited. They do provide cupcakes and drinks for an extra cost. The staff was friendly but not as helpful as I expected for what I paid and they expected a tip afterwards. For what I paid and they lack of help, I could have attempted a DIY at home and kept the girls more entertained. On a positive note, the girls worked really hard and their cakes turned out cute.

We had my daughters 10th bday there and it was just great!!!. The place cannot be cuter, the store is just like being in a movie, painted in nice soft pastel colors and full of cute decorations and cakes! The girls could not believe how beautiful the place was, the moms were excited too. The three Cake Time girls were fun, organized, patient and just great! The kids had a blast with the help of these three young ladies! Everything was ready when we arrived, the aprons and the materials for each of the attendees (fondant, baked cupcakes, molds, roller, sprinklers, gummies.. etc). The birthday girl was in charge to make the frosting, how excited she was! The Cake Time girls made her feel special! Then it was time to listen to the teachers and then apply it. So much fun!!! lots of laughs, lots of colors, lots of faces with colored frosting... After finishing the decorating the girls enjoyed some pizza and refreshments in another long table, reserved for them. Cannot recommend this place more!!!

I only ever come down around this way once a year, and that's for Super Smash Con. Who knew this strip existed with such a lovely cake decorating workshop? The space has plenty of tables, and delicious decorated cakes on display. I wonder if they were all customers or if the staff did some of them, hmm! I should've asked. At the counter on the back wall, you can get snacks and drinks in addition to the kits for the decorating. I didn't decorate one myself, but I observed the whole process. There are shelves of different tools, like skewers, piping bags and more. There's a frosting for every color and plenty of fondant for extra creativity. We were able to bring in food -- pizza for this occasion, and the staff were kind enough to serve it for us. The staff were super polite, efficient, and willing to answer any questions and assist the decorators! For anyone in the area that wants to do something both crafty and delicious... definitely consider Cake Time! They opened right as the pandemic began I believe... I'm glad they survived!

My wife and I were contemplating ideas for our daughter's 2nd birthday celebration, considering the challenge of finding an activity suitable for both babies, toddlers, kids, and adults, given our expanding circle of friends with children. Since her first birthday, where she had her inaugural encounter with cake, she has associated birthdays with this delectable treat. During our search for ideas, Cake Time appeared in our results. Our friend Andrew, who is also the community manager for MD Burbs, mentioned this place, which had opened during the pandemic. Despite the challenges faced by many businesses during those tough years, I'm relieved that Cake Time not only survived but exceeded my expectations. What stood out the most for me was their professionalism and service. The staff demonstrated remarkable efficiency, ensuring everything ran smoothly. We opted to bring pizza from the nearby Pizza Bolis, a suggestion from Cake Time. To my surprise, they took care of serving the pizza to our guests, a task I was prepared to handle. This made my role as husband, host, and the birthday girl's father incredibly easy, allowing me to focus on interacting with guests and cherishing precious moments with my little one. They actively participated in singing Happy Birthday, lighting candles, and maintaining a seamless and efficient flow, all while wearing smiles on their faces. Handling a room full of babies and young children is no easy feat, but they made it appear effortless. In summary, whether you're planning a baby shower, a kids' birthday party, a group event, or even a date night, Cake Time is worth considering. A heartfelt thank you to Cake Time for making my daughter's 2nd birthday so special! She was genuinely happy! Oh, and I almost forgot to mention--the cakes the kids decorated were not only delightful in appearance but also incredibly tasty!

My daughter had her birthday over the weekend and it was a blast! We booked a private party for 14 girls and it was perfect from start to finish. Cake time and the instructors/hosts were so friendly, helpful and made sure the girls had a great time. I didn't catch all their names except for Mara but all 3 instructors were great! They assisted the girls when needed and even helped served the pizza, sandwiches and birthday cupcakes. The location was a hike for us but all the guests said Cake Time made it worth it and we would love to come back again!

We had a really lovely time at the Story Time and Cupcake Decorating class for little ones! My almost 4yo had a blast at it. Amanda, the owner, is really nice, very welcoming, and very patient. She read us a story from Dr Seuss and helped the kiddos make a very simple decorated cupcake based on the story (Hop on Pop). The kids get to pick btw a vanilla or chocolate cupcake and you (the adult) gets a regular coffee or a latte. I got a latte and it was delicious!

I ordered a cake for my daughter's 4th birthday and did not have a good experience. When I picked up my cake I noticed the paw patrol decor on the top of the cake was bent. I told the lady that assisted me that the decorations (paw patrol) looks like it's gonna break, she said to email the owner and didn't offer to fix it. As soon as I sat down in my car the paw patrol decor and the 4 year old sign broke. I don't understand how this cake was 200$. And I had to buy cake toppers to fix the cake. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere where they actually care about important life events.

This bakery is extremely unprofessional based on their unethical business practices. My wife picked up a custom cake for our daughter's birthday, but the cake was damaged in several areas on top. This business should lose their license for selling damaged products to customers, this is unacceptable. They literally ruined our daughter's 4th birthday.

They have the best ready-to-go cupcakes I've tasted in the DMV. Too often specialty shops go way too heavy for cupcakes; dense cake, buttercream icing. Way too heavy. This place keeps it light while still being punchy with flavor. Highly recommend!
