My experience at Dave’s was disappointing today. Two weeks ago, we purchased two Catfish Platters but the person taking the order entered whiting. Did not notice this until we arrived home. We had to toss both meals because it was disgusting. Today we went in to order Catfish and the lady once again entered Whiting. I told her you entered the wrong item and she went back and forth with me instead of correcting the order which made me believe she knew the wrong item was entered. I have a feeling she is trying to sell the whiting platter and intentionally entered the wrong item. My husband and I just walked out without placing the order. Point is, please pay attention to the receipt and make sure you receive and pay for what you have ordered.

Had Gizzards and catfish. The fish was good but the gizzards were cooked waaaaay too hard. My jaw got tired eating them. Don’t come here for gizzards. Get something else.

Whoever the man was that answered the phone for a takeout order on 9/28 was extremely rude and unprofessional. He kept cutting me off and had an issue repeating my order. I told him to cancel the order and I’ll just take my business to the other seafood place around the corner. Good riddance!

I ordered the fried flounder with mashed potatoes and collard greens. It's ok. The fish was a little dry and a little tough to chew and you can tell they are not using the freshest cooking oil to fry it in. But it's not overseasoned, I would even say it's underseasoned for my linking. But overall its not bad if you have the taste for fried fish and looking for a quick fix. I would only go here sparingly.

The fried chicken wings are the best in town, Reminds me of the wings from the Chinese restaurants in New York. Fried to perfection. And they are whole wings not chopped up. If you get the wings, make sure you get the mumbo sauce YUM.
