The staff are all very friendly, and it’s clear they try to keep the restaurant as clean as possible. That said, because it’s an older establishment, it can be hard for it to look perfectly spotless no matter how much effort they put in.
If you visit, I highly recommend trying the crispy spicy fish, mung bean noodle salad, ribs, hot and sour soup, and of course, their handmade dumplings. The flavor is truly excellent, and this spot is definitely worth checking out!

This place has decent food, recommend take out vs sit in. Service is horrible. Waitress avoids eye contact and no communication on wait when is busy. You can expect just one server for 11 tables and one other person bring food out.

I came up to the DC area to visit a friend. I got off the plane, hopped in her SUV, and we came straight here. Ambiance was nice and peaceful. It was pretty empty, and there was a pseudo-sushi bar in the back? I'm not sure. Service was ok, too. The lady was nice enough, but the language barrier prevented us from really figuring out what the possibilities were with the menu.
Places like this always have secret things you can do with the menu, but we just couldn't get to that conversation. So we were forced into ordering two giant helpings of the same dumpling. One was a basic pork one, I think, and the other was a soup dumpling.
The regular dumplings were pretty good. Soft exteriors, plenty of filling within, very good. There was a good chili crisp on the table that accentuated everything, too.
The soup dumplings were also pretty good. The ones that didn't rip into pieces as we tried to pick them up anyway. A nice soup within, well seasoned filling, very good.
Overall, this place was pretty good. I am glad we came.
