Let me start by saying that I LOVE el fresco. I've been a patron since they first opened over 10 years ago. Now that they are in their new place off of Metrotech drive I'm a bit disappointed. I didn't realize that they are using that location for more of a carry out place. They only have 6 2-person tables. Prices went up and portions decreased. No more soda machines. Have to buy 20oz bottles. And no more frequent buyers discount cards. This all added up to a $12 meal for something...read full review
It was like a piece of me died when they closed! Delivery was always reliable and the food was always very fresh and good. I have a thing for the beans nachos with melted cheese, not eating it has been like an itch I can't scratch! Hopefully they will have the new location open soon, but it's been so long now, I am starting to think that won't happen :( Oooh and whatever that burrito with the steak and potatoes and guac...make you turn around and slap your mother. Still coming here after all this time. And still love it! Came by today for my fix but as Yelp says, the Chantilly location is closed. I was sad but happy to learn they are only relocating up the road to 13960-B Metrotech Dr. Went looking for it and didn't find it. Hopefully it'll open again soon! Website estimates late August opening.
