Kare Bar is a great restaurant for Japanese dishes, much better and more reasonably priced than the other restaurant across the parking lot. Unagi Kamameshi is their signature dish, and a must have. Kurobata sausage is also a favorite of mine. Service is great, and we’ve been lucky getting a table though the place does get busy at peak meal times.

One of the best japanese place in the area. The food was delicious and fresh. the server was nice, polite and explained very well how to use each ingredient that came with the katsu.
The place was extremely clean, shiny sparkling like in japan, now a days is very rare to find a place like this . We will back as often as we can Very recommended.

We had an amazing time at Kare Bar! The staff were speedy, friendly and welcoming. We also didn’t have to wait too long for our food to come out— the miso soup was the best we’ve had in the NOVA area and the katsu was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The curry was very savory with large chunks of carrots for an extra sweetness. We will be coming back!!

Kare Bar is a quiet, relaxing, small-sized restaurant, where staff have gone to lengths to deliver high-quality, great tasting dishes at reasonable prices. Very few frills keep it authentic, similar to dining in Japan (where I lived for 3 years). We have been a few times and have not been disappointed yet!

The food was great with a good balance of flavors, there was a variety of spices and sauces that paired really well with the dishes, and the service was amazing! Our server was really attentive and nice, would highly recommend anyone to come here! We also tried their new dessert, the roti with ice cream and it was the perfect not-too-sweet dessert to end the night on
