With the downfall of many Korean-Chinese restaurants in NOVA recently, Lee Hwa is a great addition. The menu, although a bit higher in pricepoint, is varied and creative, and all dishes are executed to a higher degree than the typical Korean-Chinese fusion restaurant. The tangsooyuk and yoonringi were delicious and fried well. The jjampong was deep in flavor and offered a variety fresh seafood like crab that enhanced the dish well. The mala noodles were also flavorful and the perfect level of spiciness. Service was not super attentive but we didn't really have any problems as we didn't need anything during our dine-in. We were accidentally charged for something we didn't order but the staff were quick and helpful in reimbursing us.

Our family didn’t think that the tastes of the foods sold here deserved such high prices. We won’t visit again.

Fantastic place. They have nice Chinese Korean interior with great food taste exactly same as Korean Chinese in Korea. The male server was excellent in service checking us out frequently. From start to the end, and his recommended food was fantasticcc. Try jjajangmyun and Yoorinkee. Overall, 5/5!

The food is good and nicely garnished. Ingredients seem fresh and portions are generous but pricey. Doesn't say it on the menu, but there were two numbers by the food price for weekday and weekend pricing. The same dish is almost 30 percent more expensive on weekends? Food didn't come out together, about 20 minutes apart. First came a single bowl of friend rice, then 10 mins later the first dish, then 20 minutes after that the second dish. We only got two dishes. Also, they provide small 8oz bottles of water. Good food but presentation could be improved.

The food was so delicious. It feels like a modern Korean-style Chinese restaurant. The interior is also good haha, but the black bean noodles are a little salty. One thing that is disappointing is the service.I asked the male waiter what kind of rice with red seasoning (?) was between mixed rice and yusanseulbab, and he so confidently said, “I don’t know,” that I was embarrassed.Instead of trying to ask the female employee who seemed to be the owner, I ordered Yusanseulbab. She came back later and said, "The mixed rice was seasoned with red. But it was already cooked^^"...Haha...I don't think the service is Korean style... haha...

Today was my first time writing a review, and this is one you absolutely need to read. Upon entering the restaurant, the staff seemed too busy to seat our party properly and offered us nothing but water. No one came to take our order. Eventually, I had to flag down someone to place our order. As the table next to us, which arrived later, got their food first, I realized our order was delayed. While we were almost done with three out of the four dishes we ordered, one hadn't arrived yet. After waiting for a long time and inquiring, we were told our order got backed up and to wait longer. I ended up refusing the last dish. Only then did the food arrive. My kind husband and son received their food, but we couldn't eat together and had to take it home. The entire ordeal was due to the rudeness of one male staff member from start to finish, while the few apologies received during the meal setup were from a kind female staff member. So, I left a minimal tip. They even charged for the last dish. If you want a truly unpleasant experience, meet the male staff at this restaurant. You'll get the full rude treatment.

Place wasn’t too crowded for Friday night!Loved their atmosphere and the interior decorations, not sure why they built a bar section but wasn’t using it at all.Highly recommend the “Deep Fried Shrimp Baguette Toast” if you haven’t tried. Think it’s the only place that sells this in the menu. The only reason i gave 4 stars is for the pricing. Their chefs specials avg price is ~$40ish ? Ended up just getting Jajangmyun but it was good!

3/14/24. My sister wanted to try this place out so my wife and I went to this place again. We also wanted to try other items on the menu. All three of us were disgusted with the service. This is the first restaurant ever where request for lemon for water was denied. It was a different server this time, and she was very unfriendly, never smiled, and never came by to check if we needed anything, and we constantly had to flag her down for attention. Food we ordered this time were not bad but amless than average at best. They use good ingredients for their dishes. It's a shame that they can only produce such mediocre quality food with such nice ingredients. They're the only Korean Chinese restaurant in Chantilly, and that's the only thing going for them at this time.3/11/24 The food was best in Chantilly. Because this is the only Korean Chinese restaurant in Chantilly. I have to be fair. The food I ordered, stir-fried JaJangMyun, was a different version of my favorite dish. It wasn't bad but not something I'd order again. My wife's shrimp fried rice looked very appealing, but I felt it didn't have much taste or flavor. Looking at other tables, their food presentation is excellent. I wish the taste would follow suit.I will go back and try another dish. But as for this visit, it left me wanting a little more of something. The service was good but not excellent. Definitely no lack of trying but lack of experience. Seats are hard and uncomfortable. Makes you want to eat fast and leave fast because your butt hurts.

Service is absolutely terrible. Food was okay but very overpriced. Would not recommend. Plenty of other restaurants in the area that serve better dishes and have better service. Never coming back.

Great food. Refreshing new Korean Chinese spot and if you come at a non busy hour, the passionate owner will explain the menu to you

Tried this relatively new Korean style Chinese restaurant for the first time and I was very satisfied. The owners(?) and our server were very kind and kept checking if we need anything, they kept supplying side dishes. The dishes were tasty - Jjajangmyun had good amount of meat chunks and other ingredients which usually isn't in other korean Chinese restaurants. I was able to taste a hint of smoky flavor. The sweet and sour pork dish was well fried and it's portion was generous compared with its price as well. I'm going to try other dishes as well.

Tried this place for the first time today. I'm just absolutely impressed by everything. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Jon at the bar. He was super helpful and walked us through the menu as it was all new to us. We ordered a few diff plates to try but the two that totally stuck out were the Crispy Yurin Chix and the Kan Poong Eggplant. They were so good and both had the perfect blend of Sweet/Spicy/Sour. Also, not only were the apps moderately priced, they were huuuuuge portions. In a time when so many restaurants are shrinkflating everything, I really appreciate this. So overall I 10/10 recommend this place. It is a hidden NoVa gem.
