LOPO's Crab Shack

Great customer service, it was hot and ready when I got there. The crabs were heavy and very meaty. The young man in there was very polite and even gave me a few extra medium crabs for free that were amazing as well. It’s a small family owned business and i definitely recommend this place. We will be there a lot next season!

I ordered a large size (6 crabs) and specifically asked for no seasoning, or at least very little if that wasn’t possible.
When I received the order, it already felt too light for 6 crabs. Also, the crabs didn’t feel freshly steamed—there was no warmth at all, even though I had placed the order only 20 minutes earlier.

When I got home and started eating, I found that the shells were thin and brittle, most of the insides were hollow, and there was hardly any meat to eat. On top of that, the taste was very poor. They had put way too much seasoning, making it extremely salty and spicy.

Anyone who knows crabs would have noticed immediately that these were a problem because they felt far too light. The seller certainly knew the condition of these crabs, and if they had any conscience, they would never have sold them.

Best place - couldn’t recommend more

Disappointing. They literally threw my order together. There’s WAYYYY TOO MUCH Old Bay to even try to enjoy! I’d literally have to rinse the shrimp before eating it. The crabs were not fresh and thrown at the bottom of my bag with a paper towel. Don’t waste your time or money!

I'm very disappointed by my experience today. I'm a regular here and after today. I won't be returning. Last year I had no issues this year it's been very unsatisfying and quality has been unreliable. Whoever runs their Instagram should be more professional especially to unsatisfied customers!

Abdul and Malick were phenomenal attending at lopos crab shack. They were very nice and welcoming upon arrival. I would highly recommend coming here for their food, employees, and atmosphere these great gentlemen bring.

$90 for a dozen large males! That's insane especially when you can get 3 dozen and 2 lbs of shrimp from Dents crabs fir $100

I grew up eating at the well known blue crab place in Fairfax. I wanted to give a smaller business a try and we are so glad that we did. The two young men running the trailer were so polite and so courteous but more importantly the crabs were awesome!! I have never had crabs (we got XL) so full of meat and exactly what we would have expected for XL. I am so glad we found this place. This is cash only but there is a gas station right next door with an ATM. We will definitely be back

High quality seafood at great prices! If you love shellfish, stop by their truck whenever you’re on John Mosby. We get crab legs and shrimp from Lopos on the weekend. The Loprestis are courteous and make everything fresh to order. This spot is a definite jewel.
