Milwaukee Frozen Custard

We got the banana split 🍨 and it was loaded! Very nice staff, and the soft-serve was creamy and delicious!🍦

A group of geocachers met there for a holiday event. The serviceceas fast and friendly. The food was cold and refreshing. I had the flavor of the day custard which was peppermint marshmallow. It was creamy and the peppermint offset the sweetness of the marshmallow. Others seemed to enjoy their orders asc well.
The restaurant and the restrooms were clean. The manager came over to our table to check on us personally.
I have been here before and will return.

Great ice cream and lots of choices of toppings.

From a frozen custard purist(snob) this place is in the top two in the nation for pure vanilla custard taste and consistency. I say this as someone who visits custard shops all over the United States. We live in our motorhome and travel the country. Every place we go we look for custard places. We have probably been to a hundred different places in the last 4 years. Only one other compares, and I am not sure which of the two is best.

Sorry to say but the person who was working at evening was confused i think he was speaking very low voice i couldn’t hear anything and i asked for custard flavor but he gave vanilla and when i asked him he literally said [ that was what you asked for ] i felt awkward and i said its okay. Little disappointed but i was excited to visit before hmmm. Ice cream was okay

Though the atmosphere seems to be frozen (😏) in the 60s in a way that is slightly unsettling, the custard was properly custard! My Wisconsin boy was very happy and we left with a smile on our faces and Culver’s on our minds.

Custard was great and prices were very affordable. Loved it!

Very disappointing. I haven’t been here in a few years, but it is different. “Scoops” of custard (not out of a machine)? And tastes weird. Will not be coming back. Miss the old recipe.

I hadn't been here in several years until yesterday. The place has really gone downhill and lost its charm. I used to go all the time when my child was young. There were two or three trains always active, which my child loved watching. Now they just sit there as if dead. The custard no longer comes swirling out of the machines, the nice worker said they don't do that anymore. He hand scooped it, w/o a glove on... Not being able to have the vanilla & chocolate swirled together just took away the charm of frozen custard. The ice cream was just ok, honestly, not as good as it used to be. Sad to see it this way to me.

The best custard I've ever had. Brings me right back to my childhood. Even though the store looks a little worse for wear, I absolutely recommend coming here.

We should've tried other options but kids stuck to their favorite ice cream choice. The ice cream tasted good. The store was clean and spacious.

This place is such a treat and the custard is so good?!!!

if you want small portions, insanely high prices, and little to no variety, this is the place for you! not sure if the owner changed recently but its now mediocre and crazy expensive
