We use to frequent this place for good taste. Few times I noticed the owner/manager talk rudely to other customers. Then one day I myself was at the receiving end of his rudeness after which we stopped going here.
It so happened that we placed order for a plate of puri to finish off some leftovers. After waiting 35 minutes for a simple puri plate our patience grew thin and with no appetite left we decided to pack the leftovers and leave so we carried the leftovers to the counter to have them packed. This guy rudely tells us we should not bring leftovers to the counters and it does not look good.
Well he didn't see not serving a simple puri plate for 35 minutes as not looking good with no updates from the servers on ETA but had the audacity to rudely tell us bringing leftovers to counter does not look good when the place was completely empty.
Good luck Mr. Owner.
Had the worse food ever here. Trashed the food directly after 2 bites. It was stale, the filling of masala dosa was awful and the main side dish for south Indian food is the chutney it was disgusting straight out from the freezer. If someone wants to have/order fresh food please don't visit here, better buy frozen food as they serve you frozen not fresh, why even waste your money here.
We had a birthday party last weekend . We had ordered a two tiered cake - golden and pink color. And Rasmalai and dubai chocolate flavors.
(See the pictures.. this was for 50th birthday celebration!)
However, when we were discussing the options with the manager, he was never focused. We talked to him multiple times and had the same experience always.
The result was, we ended up having a cake which even a high schooler would have done better job at!!
3rd grade amateur design, top tier was tilted (like Pisa tower). They threw a few artificial flowers here n there though. But those could not cover the flaws.
We had asked for the top tier to be Dubai chocolate flavor with the kunafa pastry crunch on top. It was not there, plus the pistachio filling inside the cake was very very thin... it did not match the Dubai chocolate pastry we tasted at the shop.
Only the Rasmalai flavor was good. So I am giving 1 star for that.
Please think twice before you order tiered cakes from them. We are totally disappointed.
We took Birthday Pastry cake and it is very tasty.
The food is always good and the staff is courteous. The only complaint is that I always do a carryout and when I go home with my order, there's always something missing. This has happened two times. One time I had to go next day to pick up the item. This time two days back I ordered three pastries and when I went home, there were only two, so one person had to share. It's not a matter of $4 but the fact that when order is packed no quality and quantity check is done to make sure that the order is correct. Everytime one can not go back to the store to get the missing items since we live far away. Disappointed.
Nice and yummy food and value for money
If you're looking for a truly satisfying meal that leaves you craving more, Pastry Corner is the place to be. Their dishes consistently deliver on flavor, freshness, and a perfect blend of spices.
I've been a regular at Pastry Corner for quite some time, and their quality never disappoints. Recently, I indulged in a Bullet Naan, Chilly Paneer, and Veg Hakka Noodle, and each dish was a culinary masterpiece. The flavors were authentic, reminiscent of a home-cooked meal in Mumbai.
The staff is incredibly attentive and goes above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable dining experience. Their friendly service makes you feel right at home.
Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or simply looking for a delicious meal, Pastry Corner is a must-visit. Their commitment to quality and flavor is unmatched.

Well we spent $270 on birthday cake. Eggless of course, cake did not taste like a cake its taste like a bitter melon. Heavy cream was bitter or we can call it decoration?. Please taste before you pay
Will not go back to this place ever.

I ordered a custom birthday cake for my wife. Was a last minute request, in which they were able to service and complete in time. The cake came out better than I thought as I didn’t really have too many specifications (just let them do their thing). Cake was moist, soft, and whipped frosting was very good. Design was basic and completed my writing request which I think is good enough for what I requested. Like I said , didn’t have any specifics other than the verbiage.
It was a bit difficult to talk on the phone with my request, but was referred to just text via phone, which this achieved my needs for a last minute request. Paid when I got it, $40 for a small 4-6 serving custom cake.
Would say worth it for my crunch of time.
Would’ve liked it to be a bit more welcoming when I entered, but I just picked up so not complaining.

Asking for a tip for just picking something from the display and giving it to me. Seriously, this is the height of over tipping everywhere.
Small pieces of cake already being charged with a high price And then asking 20-30% tip? Are you kidding me?
Edit: this is in response to the owners comment.
I wonder if you have ever seen your payment screen. Next time I highly encourage you to before responding in your high and mighty tone.

Let's arrive looking for the tiramisu (It's one of my favorites in the store)..
We decided to try something different and we loved it and so did our coffees...
It is something different and very delicious ?
Personally, I will continue enjoying all their desserts
