Stepping into this sushi haven, I was immediately captivated by its authentic ambiance—a subtle blend of traditional Japanese decor and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The staff, though visibly seasoned, exuded warmth and friendliness, adding a touch of familiarity to the dining experience.
The menu, presented a minor challenge with its abundance of choices. The star, undoubtedly, was the selection of special rolls, Shumai, Gyoza and Sashimi—each a unique masterpiece.
What truly stood out was the inclusion of bar seating, providing a front-row view of the culinary artistry.
In summary, this gem not only delivered on taste but also offered an authentic ambiance, amiable service from experienced staff, and an impressive showcase of culinary expertise, making this place a noteworthy destination for sushi connoisseurs seeking both tradition and innovation.

The food at Shiro Sushi is top-notch. It's always amazing and the yum yum sauce is super good. The wait staff is generally younger and sometimes bring out the food in the wrong order but they are always very attentive and quick to fix any issues. It's hit or miss on how busy it is. Last visit was pretty empty but I've been other nights where we waited for a table. They have lots of sushi with specialty rolls and usually a there is usually something special listed up on the board. It was the Christmas roll my last visit. The Hibachi is always great and comes with a tofu soup and salad. We also really enjoy the calamari tempura appetizer.

Everything was great. The sushi was so fresh. Wasabi was killer, you should try it. Never had wasabi with so much flavor.

Good portion sizes and good quality sushi. If you get any of the sushi or sashimi you won’t be disappointed. The hibachi is also pretty good too. If you are expecting a “show”, you should go to Benihana’s though.

Walked in to try it, and the whole place smelled like paint or varnish. Went to use the restroom and the toilet tank was leaking into a bucket on the floor. Just walked out and left.
Try the dumplings they are amazing.I love their salad, the dressing is amazing. The fried rice is different than the fried rice I've had in other restaurants, as they add something creamy to it. I liked it but my friend didn't like it as much. There were kids that didn't eat sushi, so they were extremely nice and made them sushi with only rice and shrimp, no seaweed.Parking available.

The hibachi is sooo good, but the chef will never cook it hibachi-style (in front of us). The last two times I’ve gone, one lunch and one dinner, I’ve been told the chef will just cook it in the kitchen because the hibachi tables are reserved in case a party of 5 or more walks in. Disappointing because we miss out on the experience, and no one ever walks in anyway. The owners and staff are all nice, and the food is good, but don’t expect a show.
Sushi quality is good but service is not.Felt overpriced but volcano rolls are worth trying
Moved to Aldie, VA, looking for sushi and hibachi delivery. Ordered from Shiro Sushi & Teriyaki and the food was fantastic! Great portion, didn't load on veg to minimize meat, and the food was packaged well for travel. I ordered Hibachi Salmon and thought the doneness was spot on (sometimes fish + delivery misses the mark, but not in this case). My only issue... I suspect the delivery driver hasn't come to Hartland that much, because the order was late. I believe that was due to unfamiliarity and/or lack of GPS?Anyway, we will order again and hopefully not have the same repeat issue.
