While visiting family from New York, my brother and I were looking for a lunch spot during his break and wow, it did not disappoint! Neither of us had heard of it before, but we decided to give it a try. The food was amazing and left us satisfied. I was especially excited to try their birria tacos, and when I saw online that they only serve them on Tuesdays and Sundays, I got super excited for today. Everything we tried was delicious, and my brother loved it too. I believe the owner (if I’m not mistaken) told us that the tortillas used for the tacos and birrias are homemade, and that really won us over. The carne asada was delicious, and we also tried the elote. 10/10. Highly recommend this spot, it's worth every penny. I’ll definitely be back again before I head back to New York!

Food is delicious but the people working there are terrible and the atmosphere is not the best with limited seating and the AC upstairs doesn’t work. Found a hair in my wife’s food but the guy working the register was so clueless it wasn’t worth the fight. The guy cooking in the back did not wear a hair net and the last three times we’ve come as a family it just hasn’t been pleasant. One time the lady just completely forgot about us and we waited over 35 minutes for our food and she admitted she forgot about us. Delicious food but they need to change the people working in the Chantilly location

It’s in a very unassuming building in an industrial park but Taco Zocalo in Chantilly has the very best tacos and burritos I’ve had in the DC area. Big portions, authentic ingredients, consistently excellent. Extremely clean and nicely decorated interior. When I order through Uber Eats, my delivery is always packed with great care. A+ One of the true gems of Northern Virginia!
