This was the most expensive meal I've ever had, and they even gave me a bunch of garbage.
Give this place a look for Chinese food that is authentic real and very tasty. These types of places are becoming more and more difficult to find for some reason. These days all I see are strip mall carry outs and corporate restaurants trying to serve Chinese food that taste like sauce, chicken nuggets.
We came here today and tried their roast duck and bok choy with oyster mushroom really good. This place is reliable no frills authentic.

Quality not always consistent. Sometimes very good and other times you wonder if the chef went on vacation

The waiter was rude, no patience and still messed up our order and based on that we didn’t feel the name to tip them, later proceeded to chase us down to our car in the parking lot screaming “SIR SERVICE TIP SERVICE TIP YOU FORGET TO TIP” I tip based on the service and quality of restaurant, he merely just took the order, didn’t bring the food or keep up with us for water refills or anything else, another server came to help us

I love that I don’t have to drive all the way to Falls Church for authentic dim sum/Chinese! Everything I’ve had here has been amazing and I’ve been here 5 times now.
My go-to dishes are the crab rangoons, preserved egg and fish congee (porridge), crab fried rice, salt and pepper pork chops, beef chow fun, Chinese bbq pork, shumai, shrimp rice crepes, pork with sour cabbage, egg custards, and sesame balls.
The service is always very helpful and attentive. I’m not Chinese so they were patient when I asked questions and didn’t know what to order the first couple of times I went.
On the weekends they do dim sum carts so it’s fun going and seeing the food roll by the tables. This is a great way to see some of the food they offer because I don’t know what any of the dishes are called so it’s easy to point at a dish on a cart you think looks good.
This is a great place to bring a group. Every time I come with a new person they all love the food!

I rate Chinese restaurants first by their soup. Hot and Sour did remind me of Hong Kong in the early 90s. Best I’ve had in DMV. Could have been spicier. Ordered sizzling black pepper steak, king pao beef, and Singapore noodles. Great taste, texture, and appearance. No soup pictures. Ate that too fast. Picture is of half eaten dishes. We will be back to try their dim sum. Visited Saturday afternoon at 2:45.

I was very disappointed with the roasted meat portion, especially considering how expensive it was.

I wish I did not order jellyfish appetizers because that was not real jellyfish, so disappointed as a Hong Kong people, here I don't mean any harm, I just think everyone should be treated fairly.

Their dim sim taste like from frozen, their ducks recipes and taste are no longer authentic. Their portions are 30% smaller compare to before pandemic and the prices are 30-50% more. Our family used to go there every week and we take out from them a few times a week. No anymore. Nobody craving for their foods anymore. I hope the owners realize what they are doing to their business. I really miss the old Taste of Hong Kong from before Pandemic.

Great place! No wonder my mom loves coming here. Food is great especially my favorite, the pineapple buns! So good!
Taste of Hong Kong dim sum was a big dissappointment. We used to love this place with good, genuine hong kong food. Our favorite place before but last weekend we stopped by here for impromtu dim sum. We were one of the first few to come in. We got dumplings, crab ball, pork ribs, chicken feet, beef and some tofu rolls. Each portion was about $6 and crab ball was about $10 for 2 pieces.
*Chicken feet was dry, dumplings was not hot, crab ball tasted a bit weird (this used to be my absolute favorite). Crab ball was was at about $5 each.
They have plenty of space to sit.
Service, HANDS DOWN TO THE AMAZING SERVICE OF WAITERS AND STAFF. They were so friendly, always smiling and so so sweet. The food was not as good but the service here is top notched.
We often get lobster with ginger and scallion and seafood fried rice and roasted pork (these are still good here) . I think just the dim sum food was not a good experience!
Our family Kiet and I love this place. Taste of Hong Kong is a gem! The dim sum is fresh and authentic, the Chinese seafood dishes are packed with flavor, and the roast duck is perfection—crispy skin and juicy meat. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Excellent food, great service, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
