The food is very good. You need to try to bulgogi it is the best item on the menu. The service is very good and so is the authentic Korean atmosphere.

We have been coming to ToK for over 6 years now. We found this place when we live in Fairfax and we will eat there every weekend. Now, we live in Stafford, so we only come once every couple of months. Although, they changed their service method from restaurant to a combination of fast food. The food is still amazing, and the portions are enough. For Korean food lovers, I highly recommend it. I have never had any issues with the food or customer service.

First visit was extremely positive. The dumplings and soup were very tasty and the side dishes were well seasoned.Second visit roughly a year later was less positive. The tteok galbi was extremely sweet. The soup was bland.

When I came in the restaurant, I immediately had a kind of sense as seeing no korean customers there. As expected, the food was not good. It may be good to non-korean, but the broth of soups we had no depth - as a native Korean who lived in NY for decades, I could know the broth of beef soup is solely based on MSG, rather than long-boiled meat. Considering the quality of food, it is highly over-priced. I thought Virginia has a big korean community so assumed the Korean food to be okay. Unfortunately, this one with 4.8 rating would not survive for a month in NY area or Cali where lots of good korean food available.
Spicy Pork Box is one of my favorite dishes in Taste of Korea. I can’t to the restaurant so I ordered sometimes.

I usually get the hot stone bibimpap, with tofu or bulgogi with egg - always a winner. Lately I'm hooked on their pan-fried beef dumplings. I've tried both steamed and pan-fried and definitely usually pick the pan-fried since it has such a great flavor without the usual oiliness and saltiness I've encountered at other places which I don't like. I'm'm addicted given they don't fry the entire dumpling but just enough to give it an amazing flavor. They generously fill each dumpling and provide a dipping sauce if you'd like but I think they are good enough as is. Extremely efficient each time and coming here on and off for years can say their service and quality of food is highly consistent and reliable. The girls at the front desk are so kind and always answer any questions I may have with suggestions if necessary. Ambience is great if you want a quick solo dine-in or to eat with company. Comfortable and relaxed vibe. Highly recommend this restaurant as they have a varied item for both meat eaters, vegetarians and even vegan preference. Check them out!
