I’m not sure of the young lady’s name working this evening, Friday, November 1, 7:54pm, but she was utterly rude. I simply asked if I could change my bag of chips because the app only listed salt and vinegar, and she tossed the bag of chips on the counter as if she was annoyed that I asked. Also, when I said thanks, she rolled her eyes and walked away.

I typically don’t leave public reviews but tired of the bad experiences. I’ve ordered delivery and I’ve picked up and every time I’ve order they get something wrong. All the other franchise locations are so good with their service and food but this one always skimps on the ingredients and misses order notes.

Terrible service at this location and a waste of money, ordered through the app and got it delivered, ended up with the wrong smoothie. Tried calling to store multiple times, no answer. Then my boyfriend finally got in touch with them, just to say we were calling the wrong location that they didn't have my order. Which was incorrect, but the worker there was adamant that we were calling the wrong store dismissing us completely and then hung up on us! It seems that the employees here cannot handle accepting their mistakes even if they have been working there for years.

Went in at 830pm and was told the food side was closed because they were getting ready to close the store at 9pm. Only smoothies were available. Why is the full menu not available during the full hours of operation?? Disappointing.

My recent visit to Tropical Smoothie in Chantilly was profoundly disappointing and left me feeling disgusted due to the abysmal customer service I encountered. Upon arriving with my daughter and attempting to redeem a coupon through the app, the cashier outright refused to honor it without providing any explanation. It was immediately apparent that she harbored a negative attitude towards me, treating us with disdain from the moment we stepped foot inside. Frustratingly, I realized I had forgotten something in my car and politely informed her that I would return shortly, suggesting she assist the customer behind me in the meantime. Her response was one of indifference, and upon my return, she greeted me with outright rudeness, mocking and laughing at me openly. This behavior, especially in front of my child, left me deeply embarrassed and disrespected.
As someone who has recently emerged from a challenging domestic violence situation where I was made to feel insignificant, this experience was particularly hurtful and unwarranted. When I requested her name, she callously ignored my inquiry, responding with a dismissive 'I won’t tell you my name.' This lack of transparency and accountability is concerning—what kind of policy allows such unprofessional conduct? When I sought out the manager, hoping for resolution, he disappointingly sided with the cashier, asserting that it was her 'personal choice' not to disclose her name. This utter lack of empathy and professionalism displayed by the staff, particularly 'Wendy,' has left me not only reluctant to ever return to this location but also hesitant to recommend it to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience.
