Bondurant Brothers Distillery

Facebook and website says open. They aren’t open. Drove 3 hours to visit. Would be great if you’d take the time to just update your sites.

First off I just want to say how amazing the owner and his family are! I came from Ohio only to go to the distillery and black water station restaurant and to ride back roads. I get there and 21min before they were suppose to open they decided not to open the tasting room Dang! So I tell Robert Bonduraunt’s wife kind of a sad luck story (I think it was his wife?) sorry if that’s wrong. She goes in the back to talk to the owner comes back out and tells me he will be down to the distillery in 5 minutes. I was taken back he didn’t have to do that with being busy with catering and other tasks but Robert did me a solid I will defiantly be back on my next trip to Virginia.

Great personal tour from Robert Bondurant. He was very personable and a great host. Really enjoyed hearing some family history and seeing the equipment that makes some great liquor.

Great place to visit and the best moonshine you can buy .Robert is a great guy who knows his business. Now Robert has opened Blackwater Station,if you think his moonshine is good try the barbeque he makes,take my word for it you'll go back again.

Very nice distillery with an excellent owner/operator/host Robert. The interior design is beautiful and pairs with Robert's family history. We were there on a tasting tour and were not disappointed! Robert had also prepared BBQ to sale. When you visit and BBQ is available do yourself a favor and at least take some with you if you don't eat it there. The BBQ is seasoned perfectly and very moist and tender. The BBQ sauce is very good too! A tour of the distillery is also available and Robert is very knowledgeable of his craft. It's obvious Robert takes pride in his work! We are going to be back as often as we can and you need to make it a point to get there! Spirits are also available for purchase to take home with you for very reasonable prices.

Great owner, great atmosphere, great product. Definitely worth the trip

Robert works very hard to keep the tradition alive only the finest ingredients and the family recipe very good history and the at home atmosphere to .everybody treated with respect great job robert
